Just started on this website thanks to my daughter getting a new phone and down loading "calorie counter".

My oncologist wants me to loose about 75 lbs. so he can go in and get those nasty tumors.

27 lbs. gone since 05/24/11!

Second goal: 280 lbs - completed
Third goal: 260 lbs - in progress

Welcome. I started the very same way. The phone app has made ALL the difference for me, it helps me keep track of everything ALL the time, so there is no guessing in what I'm doing. I could not have made all my progress without it.

Welcome! I have FS on my phone and iPad. It's great to be able to sync them all and have the calorie information at my fingertips at all times. I've been through the cancer thing myself--and kicked it to the curb! You can do this! Very Happy

As a sleever,I would suggest doing protein and veggie based meals. Most folks with the bypass, cannot consume sugar at all or they will dump.Of course you have to cut or cut down on the treats,sugar ...

Hi Cheryl, The only thing that works is to put less in than what goes out. I do 5:2. 500 calories on Monday and Tuesday - the other 5 days up to 1800. I eat whatever I like but am getting better at ...
