Has anybody ever tried these? I see on teambuy.ca they are on sale and they seem to have great reviews and apparently have been on Dr. Oz a bunch of times.

If they have worked (or haven't worked) for you let me know!!

IMO you don't need the drops. The 500 calorie diet is enough in itself to lose the weight.

500 calories a day is starvation not a diet

Yes that is a little recidulous, I didn't know it came along with a diet though. I definitely wouldn't be following that ha.. thats like what.. a glass of milk and a granola bar? maybe a few pieces of fruit a day?

i have seen a lot of posts on here about hcg & i work with a lady whose daughter is doing it. i want to know the long term results. yes you lose weight now, but what happens when you start eating more than 500 calories? seems to me that doing that will wreck your metabolism.

Both I and my husband did the HcG drops in January along with the 500 calorie a day diet program. You will definitely lose weight, but also your mind. It is so hard, so restrictive and exhausting - it is not worth it.

My husband felt that he set him back because it messes with your metabolism.

Just our thoughts....

I had one gfriend who did it with wonderful results and lost 30 lbs in 1 month and kept it off with a lot of hard work and definelty not eating correctly, and I have another who started it this past monday....I do not believe in it.....it is a short term fix, it will not teach the steps one needs for a lifetime maintenance program.....I would assume it truly messes up ones metabalism.....!!!

HcG drops are extracted from a pregnant womans urine......

Oh, and it's the 500 calories a day that cause you to lose weight.

Cut out grains, dairy, and legumes and limit your fat intake. It's much easier.

I use hcg activator...I researched it. Yes you can lose weight on 500 cal alone but it would cause u to possibly lose muscle. Do your research. No, it's not for everyone but there is a science behind it and it does get you in the habit of eating healthy foods. It isn't for the rest of your life. Also, there are 1000/1500 cal options.//and when you google, you also can find 800 cal optios as well. I have lost 12.5 pds over a month eating anywhere from 550 to 1800 cals. And I. It depends on how I feel. Good luck with whatever route u choose. Very Happy

If you are talking about the HCG diet at www.hcgwarrior.com then yes I have done this diet and it works really well. I lost just under 30 pounds in 27 days. I stuck to the diet and the weight came right off. A whole bunch of my friends are doing it now. I was the guinea pig I guess Smile So the great thing is that they are all losing the weight too and I am not crazy. I live in Canada and the shipment came really fast because they ship their product from within Canada which I realize now is important. Either way, you will experience life changing weight loss with this product. Take the plunge! Good luck!

Crazy insane. Even Dr Oz says if your going this route go see your doctor. The crap sold in stores or online have little to no actual hcg in the bottle at all. Your losing weight on 500 calories. Don't tell me your getting all the nutrients your body need to be healthy from 500 cal intake and fat being burned up for fuel.
You need to learn how to eat healthy food. How is starving yourself teaching you anything about a healthy way to live the rest of your life.
Have you looked up the possible side effects it can cause?
Have you read testimonials from people who come off hcg and go back to eating normal amounts of food.

I suggest you DON NOT put that garbage into your body. But your probably looking for the quick fix aka magic potion to undo what you have done to yourself over a long period of time in a few months.

Do yourself a favour and really think about it.

btw the above poster Joined Fat Secret today and made a link to a web site selling that crap. Sounds like spam to me. Lots of crap on the internet making claims hcg is good by scum bag advertises.... beware

I once made a post on one of those web sites that had 20 positive posts about how good hcg was. I made a negative post on possible side effects and my post was deleted by the op. It was a scam web site to sell black market hcg.

Perfect example of correlation does not equal causation. Take this! Nevermind that you're on a 500 calorie diet. It's not the extreme energy deficit, it's these magical drops.....
Consume whatever foods you prefer, whenever you prefer to consume them, while ensuring nutrient sufficiency and meeting caloric goals.

Placebo + starvation diet does not equal healthy weight loss.

The problem with fad diets is the emphasis is always on weight loss. There usually is absolutely nothing said about whether participants have maintained their weight loss. If they don't provide long-term weight maintenance data, it's probably because there is none.

Studies show that people who lose weight with HCG injections lose because of the diet, not the drug. And they are more likely to put the weight back on than other diets.

Hi All, I posted earlier about my weight loss with HCG Warrior (lost 30 pounds). I understand being sceptical because I was at first but please don't attack me. I posted my results to inspire others to do the diet, not to start a debate. After all, if you speak to anyone who has done this diet, you will speak to someone who has very positive things to say. Every person that I have seen use this product has lost weight (Family members) and were very happy. I found many others who have lost weight with this diet too online. See for yourself: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6mBwy0ZKd_4
also found this: www.hcginvancouver.com
Or you can just see live testimonials on their facebook page: www.facebook.com/hcgwarrior

Like I said. I am trying to share the truth about this product as it has changed my life. Talk to anyone who has done it and you will see. Hope this will inspire the believers out there Smile

mel_you, 3 posts, no start date, no goals, no logs, no weight info/ weight tracking, nothing but 3 posts all with links to that garbage starvation drug HGC.
Go away. Stop encouraging people to take the coward way out to lose weight the UN-Healthy way, instead of learning how to eat healthy food that nourishes the body and mind and helps prevent cancer, heart disease ect ect ect.

Time to go prepare a nice filling healthy meal. I hope you enjoy your 3 crackers and a half a carrot for dinner.

btw I have lost over 100 lbs and have kept it all off by eating lots of healthy food. I'm never hungry.
Are you going to live the rest of your life paying big money for that poison and starving yourself. Grab a brain. It's been said before. There IS NO MAGIC PILL or needle or drops in this case.
Is this post harsh... you bet it is, and I don't have any problems saying it like it is.

PeeFat is on the mark. No magic fairy dust, drops or pills can make your weight disappear. Stop throwing good money away and spend it on healthy nutrient dense food to fill you up. Get off the couch and start exercising and voila...you have a new lifestyle. Understand that it takes effort, will power, and commitment to get results that will last and not have you back at the beginning again wondering what went wrong.

Why are we resurrecting silly posts from 6 months ago??

Someone who is busier than you is working out right now.
There will come a day when you can no longer do this. Today is not that day.
