Peanutbutter:
Can't. Stop. Eating.
Help!
Woke up with jar in bedroom. Seriously. (At least it wasn't empty.)

I have the same issue! I can seriously live off peanut butter and almond butter! I would advise you to get rid of it if you simply can't resist digging into the jar. Unless you really learn to control yourself! Don't sabatoge your diet! You can do it!

I love peanut butter and for a while I would not even buy it... but right now I have 1.5 jars in my house and I have yet to just dig in with a spoon, unless I am making PB cream... maybe try finding some deserts that have PB in it (and no Cookies lol) that way you get the PB taste but you can freeze it and put it out of site or something.. I really have no words of wisdom as I have PB pretty much every day in some form, i have just learned to control the portion on it.
You say you want a cheeseburger but all I hear is "I need love" - a comic strip on the fridge at work.
You have failed only when you quit trying. Until then, you're still in the act of progression. So, never quit trying and you'll never be a failure.

Yes to all of your posts. I dont know why I let myself buy a jar again, let alone Jif - espcially during a week of belt-tightening to prep for vacation. I tend to sleep eat when I work out a ton and still keep calories at 1200 or less. And there are now PB jars at work left over form an event where we served PB&J! At least I'm leaving for a week+ this evening. I believe I have eaten 3.5 servings in 12 hours right off the spoon. There goes my calorie count for the day. ::Sigh::

How weird - I JUST bought some peanut butter for my house after a lengthy hiatus. Super chunk honey roasted. *delicious shudder*
Maaan, I am not helping, am I??
Have fun on vacation, though!!

I don't think I digest it properly (ouch! tummy!) I wonder if it's some sort of biological compulsion like when diabetics crave sweets because their bodies think eating more will finally trigger the appropriate insulin production?
I'll be okay, it just needs to go back on the ban list. Honey roasted sounds good though but I CAN resist chunky for some reason. It's creamy that's deadly for me.
I'm gonna go lay on the beach now and let the local marines buy me drinks for 9 days. Now that's gonna be tough. Here's to austerity measures when I return! LOL.

Ok, what the heck is it? I can't resist peanut butter or peanuts. once I start, I can eat a whole jar or a whole bag. I kid myself by buying the unsalted peanuts in the shell and the peanut butter that is only peanuts and I pour the oil off the top...so it has to be healthy, right :0) Before I lost my 30lbs, I would not touch a nut, now I just can't get enough, even walnuts...once I see them, I can't stop. In fact, I have a bag that if I can't stay away from today, I will have to toss. It is a very strange thing as I have another friend who just lost 30lbs and has the same problem with nuts.

OK, For all you peanut butter lovers (like me!)
Check out this website!!!
http://bellplantation.com/
this is a powder form of peanut butter that you mix with water to create a nice smooth and creamy texture (and it taste good too!)
The best part is that 2TBS is 45 calories (compared to 180) and 1 g of fat (compared to 16g) HUGE difference!!!
Love this stuff on apples and mixed into my protein shake...YUM!!!!

you should try powdered peanut butter! Ever since I discovered it I have had no desire to try normal peanut butter ever again! The taste is an adjustment but I love it. Get this - it actually tastes like groun up peanuts!! haha

I have the PB2, and it's cool! I even mixed mine with coconut oil once, just out of curiosity (it was very interesting - good but weird
).
But still, honestagawd PB is the shizz.

I will try PB2! Thanks for the solution that involves something like PB but not as disasterous as having a jar around.

I have read about it but wasn't sure. Sounds like it is worth a try, especially since I just finished off the jar I have of the real stuff :0) Do they sell it at the store or do you have to get on line?

you could always do what you do to break a dog of a bad chewing habit. put really hot hot sauce in it to where you dont want it anymore

jwill77nc2 is correct. Also, if there is NO asterisk (*) after the food or exercise then that number will not be counted in the Challenges and Contests and Mini Challenges this program offers.
