Hello all,

I'm hoping to find a buddy for email support. I am 29 years old, married, childless by choice, and have a sedentary job. I've lost weight before (about 35 pounds about four years ago) and have slowly gained about half of it back. I'm looking to drop 17 this time.

My activities of choice are, right now, Wii and walking. I'm only just getting started so that will evolve.

On an irregular basis, I take dance classes (ballet, contemporary). The only reason for the irregularity is that the studio doesn't always have enough dancers to hold their adult classes. Hopefully, they'll begin a summer session in about a month. I'd like to have dropped a couple of pounds before that happens.

I've begun food tracking again, which combined with regular gym visits is how I lost weight last time. The gym is boring, though, and when I'm not actively trying to lose weight, I can't convince myself to go, and then I gain again. Vicious cycle.

I'm a smart*ss, but not mean, love reading, watching tv, spending time with friends, live music, and I check my email compulsively.

Best,
MT
