Okay ladies,

You all read my post about doing things to make you feel sexy when you started losing weight...my last post was about Brazilian Waxing and you all made the journey with me on that one...Now I am in love with what is going on down there...

Which leads me to a new post about Vertical Clitoris Hood Piercing. Before we start the new discussion there are a few things everyone should know: this is not a piercing that goes through your actual clitoris, just the hood. I have researched and contacted the top piercer in this particular field named Elayne Angel and she gave me the number to her former apprentice which actually works in San Francisco! So my last part of research is talking to my friends and well..after all the positive feedback about the Brazilian...I figured you all should have some input.

So lets hear the stories ladies Smile

Oooh... here's a brave admission. I have one. I love it. It's CUTE! And it makes me feel fancy. =) It hurt, of course, because it always hurts to stick a needle through a piece of your body. It was an odd pain, too... almost like a cartilage piercing (nose, or upper ear) - kind of a crunchy pain. But very brief, and then a bit owie going from needle to jewellery. I advise you check your piercer's hygiene - s/he sould use hollow needles for easy transfer to jewellery, have a steriliser, individually package the needles and jewellery before sterilising. Go with stainless steel or niobium for the healing jewellery. The healing time for a hood is VERY short. No hanky-panky for a couple of weeks after you get it done, and don't use white spirits or anything harsh to clean it. A simple anti-bactierial hand/body wash is fine. And enjoy it! (Go on a bus or train. Trust me.)

I do not have one - I have thought about it, but I do have a few friends who have them and they say the same as Ferlengheti, go on the bus/train, you will not regret it. Other than that she pretty much covers the basics for healing, and before hand. Meet with the piercer and get a feel for him/her, if you are not comfortable with them than I would suggest finding a new piercer as you need to feel comfortable with anyone that is going to stick a needle through your skin.

My one friend had her hood done before her septum and nose and said the pain is very similar to that, and as ferl said it was brief.

Kudos to you for being brave - I am a big fan of anything body mod related but I just can't get the nerve up to have it done yet.

You say you want a cheeseburger but all I hear is "I need love" - a comic strip on the fridge at work.

You have failed only when you quit trying. Until then, you're still in the act of progression. So, never quit trying and you'll never be a failure.

How was the waxing..did it hurt bad? Been thinking about doing that but now sure how I feel laying on a table letting someone do that. Thinking about letting my bf do it.

I wouldn't advise letting anyone other than a professional do a waxing for you... professional waxers are just like doctors - they've seen it all, there's no need to feel embarrassed in front of them...

dk08, check it out - it's one of my all time favorite threads. Smile

And also, Lee's right; unless your bf happens to be a professional waxer, I would nix that plan. My sister let her husband, back in the day when Nads informercials were brand-new, try her newly arrived sugaring wax on her pits. Easy, right? One little swatch, nice and accessible... he bruised the holy living crap out of her armpit because he had no idea what he was doing.

Now imagine that as your nunu. Yeah.

ps, as for the piercing... the only one I've seen up close and personal was pretty badass. I'm a wuss, so that would never be me - but it IS pretty fancy. Smile

Hey all sorry I have been gone for so long. Life got the best of me!! I definitely have not gotten my piercing yet. Between timing my waxes(which I love) and finding time to even relax after work, its been difficult. I really appreciate the feedback...If you haven't gotten waxed because you are afraid, I highly suggest checking into it.

Don't be too scared...Find out who the best person is...and just do it...You have to wait 3 weeks from shaving though. But its worth it.

I love mine.So does my husband. At first he hated the idea of me getting it pierced but now he hates the idea of me having to remove it when we decide to have another child (most doctors want it removed for delivery in case something goes wrong) Me and my bestfriend got ours pierced together.

PS. HANKY PANKY Smile me and my husband did "it" hours after I had my hood pierced. We just did it slow and I cleaned it every time after we were done until it was healed. No rough stuff until you heal Smile

OMG lol. I say whatever makes you feel hot go for it! Ferlengheti you lost me when you said "crunchy pain" lol. I dont think I will ever have the courage to endure that but kudos to those who do. I wouldnt mind the waxing because shaving everyday is annoying but I'm not sure I could stand to let it grow out enough to get it done. How long does it have to be? and how long does it last when you get it done?

I'd seriously recommend getting your nipples done. That was fun Smile As always, just make sure you see a professional piercer in a sterile environment, and you want your nipples to be rock hard for the piercing.

Hey friend. YES! I recommend getting this piercing. I just got it done yesterday and I LOVE IT. I feel like it adds a little something extra zazzy to an otherwise boring region of my body.

Also, my boyfriend LOVES it.
