things that i have read say that you can add fruit on the OWL step.
from my carb counter book by ATKINS...
OWL acceptable foods:
buts, seeds and nut butters
berries and other fruits (all frozen or fresh without sugar) are acceptable, as are cherries and cantaloupe, crenshaw and honeydew melon, but not watermelon
and the rest is obvious for someone on atkins...
i have actually had watermelon bc i misread this the 1st time... but it has not slowed my loss.
you can have the berries and still be consistant to atkins.
