I did it! I
REALLY
did it! My first, long-haul goal has been reached. It's been 7 month and 3 days for me to lose 45 kgs, or 100 US lbs.
I set out to do this in a year, and I am already done. Wow. Honestly, I was not sure I would be able to do it when I started, but having such great tools from Fatsecret, using the website and the phone app really helped me keep track of things, and of course the unending support of my beautiful with helped me immensely. I could not have done this without her. My friends have been SO supportive also, hearing me yacking on and on about weigh loss for what must have seemed forever. Thanks for all the "likes" on Facebook and all the positive comments, both online and in "real life".
Now, I am off to phase two: Lose another 10 kgs, to get under 100 kgs. I think that's where I comfortably see myself, but I won't know until I'm there. We'll see.
Today, I will hang with my brother, we're doing campfire and hot dogs.
I included a couple of before and after photos in this post.
The first picture is taken one year ago, at my brother's house, ALSO doing hotdogs.
The "after" picture is taken this morning.
Indeed, life is good.

Way to go! It's not easy to commit to making the change and then stick with it, but you've done a great job. Such a transformation!
