can cooking be included in the list of excercises? i don't know how many calories you burn! it should be a bit more than just standing!it should definitely be comsidered an important activity worth including in the list!

Depends if you taste all the time! I reckon that would cancel many of the benefits.

hahaha! yes maybe you're right! but with moderate tasting i think it has to count for some exercise! they've already put standing but with cooking you also move a bit too, your arms at the very least! i spend at least 1h cooking everyday!

I do several hours cooking a day but I never record it as I think the calorie burning on this site is greatly exaggerated. Just off to make 100 fairy cakes for our Walk for Life sponsored walk tomorrow. Important question - how many can I eat if I walk the 8 km quite quickly?

I agree. First day using this website and it was already on my mind - how many calories used cooking? And I consider time cooking a very important activity in the world of Eating Right.

Best time for doing exercise, morning or night?
I prefer to exercise in the morning too. Partly because by the time evening rolls around, I'm worn out (two toddlers will do that to you) and partly because I just know me. If I get up at 5:30am, ...
