I also suggest drinking a bunch of water (like 2-3cups) with your meals because when I do that I usually end up really full. I've heard that some times your body mistakes thirst for hunger...

It sounds like you may be eating for comfort. (As I do / have done) Its best to recognize it before we start eating. I have caught myself headed for the fridge right after a stressful phone call or situation, almost uncontentiously. Cobby has it right...some fats and a lot of proteins are GOOD!
Oh yeah, did I mention WATER?
nOT SODA, NOT JUICE, NOT diet SODA( makes you hungrier)
Do it now...tommorrow never comes!

I will diet with you! We can get through this together! I am going through the same thing at the moment and I need someone to keep me motivated and someone I can motivate as well. I think it has a lot to do with emotions for me...I drink 3 liters of water a day so it is not a lack of water for me. I am a stressed out nursing student...enough said. Will you diet with me?
