How do you cheer yourself up?

It takes me half a day to come out of my sulk...my first thoughts being 'F*!% this, its pointless!'.....Evil or Very Mad

If you are past induction,then congrats for making it this far.After 6wks of following the program,I still at times let the scale get the best of me.I have learned,and it took awhile, to only weigh in once a week,first thing in the morning after a bathroom visit.The biggest and most accurate is how your clothes feel.

I workout extra hard and push myself to make progress -- either in lifting a heavier weight, or more reps, or a longer or faster intervals. It reminds me that even if the weight isn't moving, I'm still making progress. And ultimately, that matters to me more than what the scale says. I want to be smoking hot, and no one is going to weigh me to be sure that I am. Progress isn't always mathematical (I say that as a true English teacher who doesn't believe in math on any level!)

When I see it I work hard to resist myself in comforting myself with food- that's what I want to do. I try to instead focus on getting a little extra exercise it, which always boosts my mood.

I'm actually in that place right now. I gained a pound in a week at my last weigh in and wasn't surprised because i went nuts on cookies. I've behaved in days since my official weigh in (I log once a week) yet when i got on the scale this AM I was up 3 more lbs! Argh!

I need to find time to "Dance My Cares Away" as would the good Fraggles.

You dont have much weight to lose so its going to be hard. Go to Gnc and get Oxy elite pro. Take one pill before breakfast, drink lots of water and watch 5-10 pds come off in 2 weeks. No f'in lie this s##t really works. I've tried a bunch of diffrent fat burners but this one actually works. It will help you get over that hump. I lost 7 pds in a week on them. Good luck sweetie.

1200 calories diet, or have I miscalculated badly?
