help with Atkins

On the Atkins website, it gives lots of info on how to calculate net carbs and also lots of educational info that is great help! Good luck - I'm starting my second week, but wont weigh in untill tomorrow - but I already feel like I've lost some weight and I feel better too!

I'm not on Atkins. I just came back to this site yesterday. When I was on Fatsecret (FS) before I found that the best way to get help is to get involved. Go check out other peoples journals & befriend them write on their journals & posts. It helps me to help others. Maybe it will work for you! I started here @ 238. I was 305 @ my highest ever. Now I told myself I wouldn't get over 200 & I did.... so I am back! Good luck to you!

I've managed to lose 80 lbs doing net carbs... it comes off slower but if you limit our sugar alcohols and stick with meat and veggies you'll do fine!

1 Golden Delicious Apple, and 3 tbsp. of Alouette's Reduced Fat Spreadable Cheese, for a total of 142 calories. :)

Eating too little?
Weight Watchers dropped the number of calories you could have the smaller you were. I would try dropping calories to 1200 per day.

who meal plans?
I find this to be a key to my success. I plan at least 3 meals a week that I can also use to create lunch, love the crock pot great help I also make soup for the week. great go to when I am in a hurry ...
