I am new to this and I went to enter an exercise I do thats not listed but it wants me to enter the amt of calories I burned. I have no clue how many. How do you find out?

a lot of time I will google search the excersise and amount of calories burned. Usually a site somewhere will have the amount of calories burned listed for you.

This helps some

as Eric suggested, google is a great tool to use, but beware that the amount of calories burned would be an estimate because the calorie calculator thing is done in general so you may burn more or less but it gives you a start..

You say you want a cheeseburger but all I hear is "I need love" - a comic strip on the fridge at work.

You have failed only when you quit trying. Until then, you're still in the act of progression. So, never quit trying and you'll never be a failure.

I've heard Fitday.com can give you pretty good estimates, as well as WebMD. I would go with either one of those over FatSecret because it tends to overstate calorie burn. If you're just starting out this should be close enough, just keep in mind that nothing is going to be exact.

Personally as I got further into my journey I wanted a more accurate way to measure what I burn through activity, so I invested in a Bodymedia Fit activity monitor. Google it to get more info, & you should also search the forums here for it, I wrote a review after wearing it for a week. If you've ever heard of the BodyBugg, it's made by the same company. I LOVE mine.
