i have just signed into fatsecret to track my induction phase net carbs and am getting a much higher total on this site than i get from totalling the carbs from my net carb counter paperback or the atkins book. now i don't want to use this fatsecret site. anyone else with similar experience? are these net carbs or just plain carbs? and shouldn't this site adjust to make them net?

By default, total carbs are shown here. Go into your account options and set it to show net carbs.

The net carb option when you set up your options is fairly close to the Atkins book (I have one). There are a lot of Atkins dieters on this site
As long as you try, and try again, you will never fail. You never lose. The only way to truly fail is to quit.
