Im new and I need advice!

When I started there I was at a good weight and I was happy. I basically stayed at home and ate healthy with my children because I stocked my fridge. Now that I go to school I have a 30 minute lunch and 15 minute break I am on my feet all day so when I get a chance to sit I want to eat nasty stuff like chocolate because everyone around me is eating it. On lunch my friends go out to lunch to like Mcdonalds, Taco Bell...etc. Anyways long story short I need advice on how to control the urge to eat bad food and not to go out to fast food restaurants. I absolutely love junk food and dont want to give it up completely! Thanks in advance!Surprised

Girl, I can totally understand where you are. When I went to cosmetology school, it was 8 hours of temptations. At that time I wasn't dieting to lose weight but I was working on getting my cholesterol under control. It was very difficult to deny myself all the "good stuff" that everyone else ate.

I found it to be alot easier to have a good healthy breakfast BEFORE I arrived every morning, and then I snacked alot throughout the day on fruits. When lunch came around, I always brought mine from home. It was hard to turn down all the unhealthy stuff, but, I did it, and you can too. Just hang in there, and God bless!!!

P.S. If you have your fruits sliced, ready to eat, and in a container, it is alot easier to just grab a couple slices of that, rather than a few chips or candy.

if you go out have a salad and a chicken breast or meat in a salad..the diet I'm on, Atkins, you have to eat a lot of salad so that would work out well for me, and the meat is always a good choice minus the buns..say a bunless cheeseburger
