I see so many suggestions about what could make this site so much improved for the users. Don't you all think it would be nice to know what is being working on for enhancements? Maybe a little box on the right hand side titled..."What's Coming For You" and tell us the enhancements that are being working on and the expected delivery date. One of the keys to success is communication, not only the users to the site managers but also the site managers back to the users. What do you all think???

Gotta tell you, in nearly 2 years here, I've never seen any change, major or minor, aside from the recent addition of banner ads.

I suggested they make the weight loss graph larger. It is imposable to see.

Lately I found a new site that is similar to this.It has allot of tips, ect.. At the end of the day it analyzes what you ate, breaks all the food you ate down on a graph, and tells the vitamins and nutrients you need more or less of for the day. Then it gives you an overall grade for nutrition. They also have large graphs that you can see.

http://caloriecount.about.com/

I am using both for the last few days.

Wish they had support for:
1. People who are gaining weight.
2. Body fat percentage goals.

Ed - I have used CalorieCount for a few years and I still use alot of the tools. I do log my meals on there once in awhile because I love the analyzer, but what is missing from that site is the buddy support that I have found here. I still prefer FS to all the other sites I have tried.

I would love to see track all my nutrients, vitamins, sodium, sugar, cholesterol, fat, protein, carbs, etc. Right now we are limited. I would also like to be able to record measurements because sometimes weight loss isn't the only indicator of fat loss and improving health.

I thought the bar showed if you allowed everyone to see your weight. I only let buddies see my weight so the bar is not there. But I noticed you are showing your weight, so the bar should be there unless there is some sort of setting that allows you to do this. But if you find out, please let me know : ) Thanks!

If you click on "my signature" in the toolbox to the right when on your main page you can check a box that says "Include a ticker on my fatsecret.com forum posts"

Babs - I like FS for the same reasons, as well as the challenges. Rite now I am doing the 100 mile challenge. After 6 weeks I have done 75 miles and lost 11 lbs!

Calorie Count is very helpful to balance out your diet. I think I will continue to use both.

Thanks sherilyn70. I was wondering how to put up the weight loss bar also.

I'd like to see FS add a chart for measurements -- i.e. neck, chest, waist, hips, thighs.

As for putting up the weight loss bar, go to "my fatsecret", then go to "My toolbox", click on "my signature", then click on "add weight loss ticker." But your weight will show only if you agree to allow everyone to see your "weight, journal and calendar" (i.e. not buddies only), which you can control under "my account"

i second hbkim. I used to use www.weightlossresources.co.uk which is a BRILLIANT site and they had it so sometimes when you dont see a loss on the scales, it's nice to see a loss on the inches.

I used Sparkpeople for awhile. LOVE their nutritional breakdown pie charts Smile And they have tracking for all the things you're asking (water, inches, etc) but I felt kind of lost there... too much going on. Too many things to do. I like the simplicity of this site and (most of) the people. And the iphone app is kickass.

Ditto the requests for more nutritional tracking, measurements and body fat % goals!! Otherwise, I love the site, although this is the first one I found. Since many of you guys have tried other ones and prefer FS, I think I'm good. And the Android app rocks, too! Smile

@abidder ,You can track your water, just add it as a food. Look at my food journal. I add 32 oz to almost every meal. I use a big bottle and be sure I fill it before every meal and I don't get up until it is gone.
