1. I will take surfing lessons.

2. I will swim again.

3. I will go back to volunteering with food shelters. Nothing's more awesome than volunteering to help feed the poor and/or homeless and having someone ask you if the reason there's no bread left is because you ate it. Thanks, jerks.

4. I will probably go out more, when I feel like I am less prone to general ridicule.

In an ideal world, I would be able to go out and do this stuff whenever, with no fear of judgment. But in my experience, it's easier to wait for the weight to come off and try again.

I would go hiking (and actually wear shorts out in public)
I would be able to work with my husband again on the weekends(Tree Trimming business)
I would go to the beach every chance I got..and play volleyball!!
I would shop in REGULAR stores, and not be confined to the plus size section.
I would travel more...and go out on the town more

I will wear more attractive, expensive clothes. Right now I feel unworthy of nice clothing.
I will be more willing to go to events with my boyfriend. He is super fit, and I don't want him to be humiliated by me. He could do soooooo much better.
I will go swimming.
I will let my boyfriend try to pick me up. I don't even let him try, because it would be mortifying if he couldn't.

1. I will travel more. Flying has just gotten too hard.
2. I will take Kayak lessons. I am mortified that that I won't fit into the kayak.
3. I will go horseback riding again. I am well over the minimum weight for the animal's comfort.
4. I will sit in restaurant booths. I have begun requesting tables because it is just too uncomfortable squeeze into a booth.
5. I would really LOVE to be able to run. I have a surgically reconstructed kneee, so I don't know about this one. But, boy would it be nice!

Wear a phenomenal bathing suit, only to take it off and swim au naturel on a secluded beach.

Yes, with that man of mine. Wink

I will wear tailored clothes, and finally wear pretty dresses and skirts!

I will sit on chairs and not worry that they will collapse under me.

I will add more as I think of them Very Happy
It’s not perfection–it’s persistence in the pursuit of being healthy. If you stumble and fall, then you simply get back up again and start anew. That’s what makes this journey one worth taking day in and day out. The bottom line is this: NEVER EVER GIVE UP and keep going even when you think it’s just not worth it anymore. Everyone has some great ideas here!

I will add to mine:

1. Fly again... not extenders this time!
2. Go to a spa, yes Nodaa! That's a good one.
3. Actually get involved at my son's school. (Right now, I'm afraid the kids might make fun of me in front of him.) (Thanks, Odyssey)
4. Run outside (nice, Dclemens!)

It's a shame what we have to put on hold. Sad

1. Buy the clothes I want to wear instead of what camouflages my belly fat (Get rid of the baggy pants and loose oversize shirts)
2. Wear a 2 piece bathing suit in public
3. Wear shorter, more form fitting shorts (Get rid of the baggy cargo shorts)

1. Have a choice of clothes and style instead of just buying the best of whatever I can find that fits.

2. Be willing to walk into a gym to do exercise (and I have one in my apartment building!)

3. Just look better and feel better. I gained 50 poundsExclamation in 5 years, and have already lost some before I found this site. I want to get back to where I was, which was not thin but was fine for me.

Cross my legs. And not the ankle-on-knee cross, like REALLY crossing my legs, & not only is it comfortable but it looks natural.

I second so many things I see on your posts. Here's my new one: I will buy a new bathing suit, rent a pool, and throw my own pool party to make up for all the ones I've been too embarrassed to go to!

Seconding, Kat. I remember being able to do that and I miss it. I'm going on a shopping spree when I get close to goal weight. Smile
