What is the difference? Is it that you supposedly use your arms when doing deskwork? Typing on a computer? Neutral

I think that's what they mean. I have an office job where I sit for 9 hours straight. I put down "sitting", just because it doesn't really matter. The difference between desk work and sitting for 9 hours at my weight is about 60 calories. Completely unimportant in the grand scheme of things.
If you think my post is too abrasive, harsh, or offensive, you're:
A) Wrong.
B) Too sensitive.
C) Not going to receive an apology for pointing it out.

I choose not to nitpick... it's not exercise and I'm not doing anything active. I just leave it all at "resting" for the day unless I do something drastically different than normal.

I don't think that fs calculates correctly on the desk work calories burnt! I don't really care too much, but according to the deficit that my 8 hours of deskwork 5 days a week makes, I should be losing several pounds a week. Oh, well. Smile
mini goals:
170 - 50 pounds gone! (reached October 2, 2010)

I try to differentiate between the two because to me a calorie burned is a calorie burned. I try to keep my diary as close to exact as possible. I need the motivation and it helps keep me going!

I wish that the excercize diary was in a different format. like, being able to write in "sleep" as 12am-7am. driving: 8am-8:30 am, and so on....
