Hey There!!

I lost 25 lbs on my first round of Phase 2 and I used the HCG shots. This is the best diet I have ever been on. Not the easiest but absolutely the best for a long term change of life style.

I am now on the maintenance phase and I am 2 weeks into the PHASE 3 portion. I just spent 6 days in Vegas and I ate at buffets 3 times per day in order to get the variety of foods I needed and I am still maintianing my weight. I am following the rules of Phase 3 no starches at least for the first 3 weeks of maintenance. I only ate the sugar free deserts and I made good choices. (My favorite was the sugar free cheesecakeat the Flamingo!!)

I totally changed my views about food and I wouldn't even mind just going with out starches (potatoes and bread, etc) for a very long time.

Good luck on the HCG diet!!

If you follow the diet you will lose. If you want to maintain it, you will have to educate yourself and become disciplined.

Very true... and very important on not gaining the weight back. If you follow the diet all the phases, you will be able to maintain. There are a lot of people that are going many years strong and haven't gained the weight back. There are those that have gained some back, but they didn't change their lifestyle to being healthier after finishing.

I'm on my second round. I didn't gain during the time I was off hCG.

A diet is successful if a person is willing to change their habits. No, you don't have to live off salads and bland foods to maintain. You can have quite tasty things. You can indulge once in a while and not be afraid of gaining 5lbs the next day... but you also need to learn how to balance your intake with your caloric spending.

For example, I'm having a pig roast with all sorts of goodies in 2 weeks... I also know that if I want to maintain my new weight, I will have to compensate for that pig roast with a high protein day and my training session.

I know that next month when I start adding starches and sugars... I need to balance out the fats.

Longterm success from the results of this diet are dependent on the individual understanding how to balance all the vast food choices later on and making changes in their habits.

Hi driley! I finished the protocol in March and have been maintaining my weight (even dropped 2 1/2 pounds!) since then. I am diligent with my calorie counting but also have a whole new respect for what goes into my body and I work out every other day. The diet worked very well for me and I hope it works well for you too. If you want to see my info 'friend me'. I don't have it public because I'm tired of all the negativity on this website.

Make sure to do Phase 3 correctly!!! I did the protocol and lost about 15lbs, but I didn't do Phase 3... the weight came back AND THEN SOME!!! You have to be super strict about it or it'll end really poorly.

Momo, why are you coming here just to say things like that?

It's so bitchy.

Everyone else, I'm so sorry, I planned not to post in any more hcg threads, but since this one person seems like she is not willing to just let it go with whatever personal problem she has with me, what am I supposed to do? IMO, we'd be best off ignoring each other but she seems hell-bent on insulting me personally. I have no idea why that would be fun for her. See? I don't know EVERYTHING. Any how is it helpful to this person's question to write that in their thread? It's so petty. Get over it. Doubt

Seriously it is uncalled for. It is a public forum. There is no need to be rude. Get off it already.

I'm sorry, I thought this was a public forum? I thought this site is www.fatsecret.com not k8ykisincharge.com Guess I'm wrong, and your right. Again!

I just think it really takes someone who is so full of themselves to actually go onto a forum and say what you did. "message me and I will personally advise you based on my own success and experience." Are you serious?? I guess your way is the only way of doing things? Your not here to sae (controll) the world - people will do and try what they like, no matter how many times you post on every single forum. But keep doing it, its a great form of entertainment for so many. Thumbs up!

Momo, why don't you write me a REALLY NASTY personal message and get it out of your system without involving everyone else.

BTW, the OP wrote to me and did ask for advice. Yes I am serious. If anyone wants advice on how I lost the weight, please feel free to write! You don't have to starve yourself or inject yourself with anything to do it.

Apparently this personally offends you. Get over it. I've never insulted you personally, but you continue to stop by threads JUST TO INSULT ME. It is incredibly petty. You ignore me and I will ignore you, kay? Problem solved.

Wow way to get super offended over nothing. She offered up some help. Odviously she lost 101lbs. She didn't say don't do HGC or you will go to hell when you die. It was an offer, and it wasn't even for you, so GET OVER IT. Jesus.

I don't believe I've insulted you. I'm celebrating the fact that you seem to know a lot. Everything maybe. You, on the other hand, called me "bitchy" Whats that??? A compliment? No, I would call it a personal insult. And trust me, I am in no way stalking you, or looking for forums you've posted on... its just hard to find one you haven't.

As far as Shae - Yeah, shes lost 101lbs. Many people have done the same, or even lost more. Infact, I know someone whos lost 125 pounds... and I don't go on every forum offering up my "expertise." And I've never lost it all just to regain it later....

Why not? Why don't you try to help some people rather than worrying about what I'm doing?

Hi, looks like k8yk is at it again!

She has quite a vendetta against hcg, and her comments can be harassing. If she haunts you, just report her. That will get her off of your back.

This site is here for people who need help. Who want to figure out a new way to live their life in a way that works for them. It was an offer. Its not right to personally attack someone because they are offering help to anyone. That's all I am saying. If you have a personal problem with her, please keep it at just that. The forums are for help, not insults.

Seriously? She lost 100 pounds in a slow, gradual, permanent process. Her method is the definition of healthy weight loss. She has every reason to feel she can give advice for weight loss. Sheesh.

This thread is no longer worth my time. You guys can sit here insulting me all day long if that's what's fun for you. I'll be answering people's questions based on my own experience.

Best of luck to everyone in whatever they do.
