Just curious what is everyones favorite breakfast?? How about a BEFORE and AFTER lifestyle change breakfast??

My before would be corned beef hash, hashbrowns, fried eggs and toast! heck, maybe even a side of bacon!!

My after is One cup of cascadian farms hash browns cooked in a little PAM spray and one fried egg, and generally a piece of fruit. OR whole wheat toast with a Tablespoon of peanut butter and sliced banana Smile

My before was 1 Yoplait yogurt and 1 Nutra-Grain bar at about 9:30 after I got to work.

My after is 1 egg and 4 egg whites scrambled with 4 oz. 1% Cottage Cheese, and 1 slice of whole wheat bread and a glass of OJ, at 7:30am. Then a snack around 10am.

I also added exercise, but my daily energy levels are SO MUCH higher and I think a huge part of that is eating a real breakfast.

My before was two pieces of toast with peanut butter and honey (it had to be two, or my day was ruined.) My after is 1 piece of toast with peanut butter and honey.

My before was any 2 for $2 fast food breakfast special...just the thought of it now makes me gag.

Now, my fav is 3 egg whites scrambled with 2% cheddar cheese, mushroom and spinach rolled in a high fiber whole wheat tortilla and a piece of fruit...oh yum! Smile

My before was to skip breakfast, and just drink coffee heavy with half and half.

Now, a one egg micro-omelette with a slice of pepperjack and some guacamole, and a handful of cherry tomatoes on the side. Sometimes I'll have it on a piece of toasted whole grain bread. The other breakfast I alternate this with is steel cut oats mixed with a bit of ricotta, fresh strawberries and a few chopped nuts.

my before breakfast was usually something frozen and quick, jimmy dean sausage egg and cheese biscuits were my favorite. Either that or fast food.
My after is either 2 eggs and one peice of whole wheat toast or whole wheat toast with peanut butter and bananas, depending on how much time i have. I even throw in a half a grapefruit every now and then too

Well when you could get me to eat breakfast, my before favorite was an all you can eat buffet breakfast at Golden Corral. Waffles with strawberries and whip cream, scrambled eggs, sausage & bacon, cheesy hashbrowns, biscuits & gravy, what ever you can imagine it was there, and I gorged myself.

Now my favorite I guess would be 3 boiled eggs with black coffee. Gotta have coffee!!

My before: a Stack of blueberry pancakes with actual butter, not butter Spray! haha and looooads of syrup. lots and lots of sweet delicious blueberry-stained syrup. With crispy crunchy bacon and a big glass of ice cold milk. usually comes with a side of guilt.

My after: One slice of 35 calorie toast with cayenne doused mustard squished around, conveniently-microwaved liquid egg whites and diced sweet red peppers with a side of fruit!

3 egg omelet, 3 slices cheese, chili pepper, tomato, 3 slices of bacon, onion, and homemade potato pancake with sour cream.
Now one serving egg whites with all the veggies, one slice cheese, no bacon, no potato pancake. I realize I am full after that, when I go home though I do have chile rellenos and bacon.

Ok, this is where I need help. Diet Pepsi has been my breakfast of champions for a very long time. I have always felt like I was starving at lunch if I ate a breakfast of any kind. I was just reading the metabolism boost challenge yesterday so I am trying to make a concerted effort to eat something with in two hours of waking up. Today it was one of those Whole Grain peanut butter cracker packs. Not great but it is a start.
