Ok, I admit it, I will NOT use the stair-stepper at they gym. I think people look like idiots on them and so I refuse. What excercise will you NOT do at the gym or in front of other people?

Squats
I don't know why, but I can't keep my balance. I'm going to have to get over it soon though because I'm almost working out on the leg press' max setting.

I won't go near the free weights... There's always gigantic men all around there and I feel like a shrimp! I save the free weights for home

Hands down, it's squats for me.
No thanks, I'll try to work my legs another way.

You should. Squats are the best complex lower body exercise you can do. Seriously, they are that good.
For me, the exercise at the gym I will never do is any circuit training. Not as effective as free weights for the time invested.

I know. It's the king of all exercises... but I fall forward/back if I put any significant weight on the bar. I've got to find a way to fix my form so I can get better results. I'd like to do deadlifts as well, but my gym isn't set up for them. I'd have to clear out an area and steal bars/plates from other stations. My workouts are so fast paced that it would be too much of a hassle right now.

I'll do any exercise. But I won't go anywhere near the sauna or hot tub. Old, fat, hairy, farting men are not my cup o tea.

The get fit guy from the quick&dirty tips podcasts stated that the stepper isn't really worth it because it works the tiny calf muscles-better to engage the bigger muscles in the thighs.
Though the movable stairs that kicks my ass. My new gym doesn't have one and I don't mind, but it's GREAT for HIIT. (high intensity interval training).
I don't work for this company but I am HOOKED on the nutrition diva and they just introduced this guy.

I don't like using the treadmill. Currently, I have a lot of fat on my thighs and butt so running and walking on there just makes me feel uncomfortable. However, since my thighs and butt are my biggest problem areas I have made myself get back on the treadmill and I have even started taking leisurely walks around my community on my days off from the gym. I hope it pays off and I'm sure if I keep at it that it will.

When I find myself not wanting to do an exercise I try to make an effort to do that exercise even more. That way I know I'm not cheating myself because an exercise is too hard or weird.

I don't like to do the Eliptical machines. I'll do the treadmill or bike all day long, but the eliptical just makes me feel weird...lol. Besides, I spend most of my time on the free weights anyways.

I agree with this. The stair climber, escalator type, was my nemesis. The first time I did it, I couldn't continue after 4 minutes due to a cramp in my side and an inability to breath. I made it a goal to walk up 100 flights of stairs, which I accomplished about a year ago. Now I could keep going indefinitely, but so far my record is 200 flights of stairs in 45 minutes. The challenge kept me trying.
I used to hate a particular type of elliptical, now it is my favorite. The exercise that is "too hard" might be worth a second look. Challenging yourself is the only way to progress.

Same here! Or anything where I have to bend over infront of others.

Since I find it awkward to exercise in front of other people I just do not go to gym. Just work on a treadmill at home.
