Right before LAWL closed in my area (after I had lost the weight) they changed the plan. I am on the blue plan and the new one seems to have more food and I just want to make sure that I can lose weight like before by using this plan rather than the original one. Comments?

I went to LAWL in my area and made goal weight, did maintenance etc...I never saw a blue plan. I just began using the gold plan which was what I used at the end. Here is what mine says:
2 proteins, 3 veggies, 3 fruit, 1 fat, 2 starch and 2 lites. I would assume exchange volumes are nearly the same. Write me if you need more help. Good luck. I restarted last Monday. Good luck this week.

I was a conselor when they still had the color plans which worked great for me. I lost 55 lbs in 5 months. I joined la to ur door for the products and got the new plan with more food and have been having a hard time losing. I have decided on my own to switch back to the colored plan. It just works better for me.

I didn't realize that they don't have the colored plans any longer. It's been awhile since I've been a member.....The plan they gave me is 2 1/2 proteins, 3 veggies, 2 fruit, 2 fat, 3 starches and 2 lites. Any ideas on substitues for the lites? Thanks to you two! Good luck to you also. Did you both gain back all of your weight? I could kick myself......

That sounds like a perfectly good excuse to me Smile Maybe I'll try the Luna Bars. I actually like all of the bars I've tried - Kelloggs, Pure Protein, Zone. Kelloggs has some vanilla flavors which are kind of hard to find in other bars. So, speaking as an ex-LAWL counselor (awesome I found you on here - because I, too, know it works) - do you think it's ok to substitute? I like the LAWL ones too but they are just so expensive...Good Luck this week to you both!! I'll be checking back with you guys!

OK - definitely not an LAWL advocate BUT I can share with you a little known secret which I have discovered...check out your local Big Lots! My husband and I find SB meal replacement bars, Special K protein and cereal bars, reduced fat triscuits and wheat thins for about 2/3rds of the sale price you find in grocery stores.

As and an ex counslor i do remember in our training course they would always say the components in the bars are what works. That no other bars have the same makeup, now I don't how true that is. Maybe it was just a marketing plan to make all us beleive we were pushing these bars for all the right reasons lol.

I am on the lawl plan, and I dont use the bars, mostly because I dont like them.. (not much of a candy bar girl) But they have me on the next plan up, because of the calories I am missing from not eating the bars.. But I will say this I really miss the chocolate biscotti they use to have Sad
