10 reasons I want to lose weight

So here are 10 reasons why I want to lose weight.

1) I will have better self esteem
2) I will feel sexy
3) My body will feel better (no pain)
4) I will have more energy
5) I will like to get dressed in the morning
6) I will look at my reflection
7) I dont have to treat every meal as if it is my last.
Cool My husband will be proud of me.
9) SWIMMING SUIT
10) I live in Hawaii, it would be nice to go scuba diving. (I have to wear so much weight to keep me down that I can not move that easy, so I dont go)

I put cards all over the house and car with this list, to remind me why I should make healty choices. I forget so fast.


Maybe share what are your top 10?

7. Pregnancy - Not now, but somewhere in the next few years, I want to start a family and I don't want to be over 200 lbs getting pregnant!!
8. Being able to walk up a flight of stairs without losing my breath
9. Setting the foundation for my health - Heart disease and cancer are high in my family
10. Just feeling more emotionally balanced and HAPPY.

I really liked the idea of writing these down...I actually think I am going to add them to my journal so I can read them some times.

3. Buy more sexy clothes.
4. Not have to hold my fat roll in to button up my pants.

7. Drive my husband crazy with my new look! Smile
8. Confidence instead of feeling defeated.
9. Enjoy what is left of my 30s and go into my 40s feeling like a million bucks!
10. Last but not least, the SWIMSUIT of course! (Florida in 60 days!)

How about, so I can cross my legs the way I use to.
Or to wear a bra that does not look and feel like hardware instead of underwear.
I taped this list to my exercise mac. today. and inside the fridge. I am very very forgetful when it comes to food.
I too am going to Florida in June (DW). Everyone says it is going to be hot as heck, but I am ready to get off this rock. Good motivation!

1. To be able to be active well into my twilight years (play with grandkids, enjoy active hobbies, etc.)
2. To be healthier overall so when the inevitable knee/hip replacement (or other age related or unforeseen surgery) becomes neccesary I'll recuperate faster and better!
3. To be happy to be in family pictures again.
4. To never again worry about 'fitting' through a turnstile or on an amusement park ride.
5. To prove to myself that I am stronger than this food addiction and can do what I set out to accomplish (again!).
6. To wear form fitting jeans and be able to breathe at the same time.
7. To be able to tie my shoes or paint my toenails and breathe at the same time.
8. To enjoy shopping and wearing stylish clothes again.
9. To be able to have a wardrobe that will fit year to year and not have to buy new all the time because of my changing size.
10. To be smokin' hot in my 40's of course! : )

1) To run with my dad again.
2) My mom is going in for major surgery may 12; want to be fit for all the stress and months of rehabilitation and to help my dad.
3) To exercise to reduce stress instead of smoking/drinking.
4) Better sex.
5) To go home on my 28th birthday (6/6) and have people give the omg face NOT b/c of weight gained.
6) To wear all my cute sexy clothes.
7) PHISH two nights of dancing without being out of breath.
Cool KNOW I am not a quitter.
9) Motivation.
10) Enter my 30s close to as healthy as I entered my 20s.

1. to make more room for my liver (it has a benign mass that I would like to keep because I'd like to avoid surgery, but I think my liver needs more room if I'm going to keep the mass without having indigestion and other symptoms).
2. be a better role model for my children when it comes to nutrition and health.
3. improve my self image in my own mind/better self esteem
4. I want to feel better all the time.
5. If I weigh 200 pounds when I'm 80, that'll suck.
6. I think I only have 5.
DISCLAIMER: I expect to lose this weight over the next 6 months to 5 years. I'm not going to feel like a failure if it takes an entire month to lose 1 pound. I'm going to feel like a success when that happens! I may offer advice that I'm currently not taking myself. Feel free to call me on that!

1. To prolong my life so I can be as good an auntie to my baby nephew for as long as possible.
2. To reduce the chances of the heart disease that runs in my family.
3. To get my body working in tiptop condition with no more sore knees or aching back.
4. To be able to run for the bus rather than just watch it drive off if I'm late.
5. To have the energy to be involved in more things I care about, likle music and my friends, instead of being too exhausted after work.
6. To be able to fit into more exciting clothes for when I perform, rather than having to go with things that are too old for me, or shaped like muumuus.
7. To be able to wear my gorgeous heels, which currently hurt too much because there's too much weight on the ball of my foot.
8. To know that I can physically support my folks if they become ill or injured.
9. To feel confident and attractive in a swimsuit.
10. To just walk into a shop, fall in love with an outfit, and know it'll come in my size.
I've never met a cheese I didn't like.

2, To actually own some clothes, that aren't for work, horse or bed.

5,To be able to keep up with my far younger co workers, without them saying the words"don't worry..i'll do it"
6, To relieve my rickety joints, so they don't carry more than they have to.

8, Never again have someone call me a "fat cow"

This is a good starting point, but you really need an exercise plan to maximize the results. Even if it is just walking. Get moving!
