I caught the eye of my special man when I weighed 250 pounds Smile

He loves me whether I am fat or thin- I'm more than that to him. And it helped me care about myself enough to lose weight, just for myself.

Yes, and I'm so happy I met him when I was heavy. It's like it took all the pressure off and I don't have to worry that he only likes me because I'm cute or that he'll leave me if I gain 5 pounds Smile In a way, I feel a little bit bad for "hot" girls who get chased by guys because you never would know if they really like YOU or are just after your hot bod Smile

I hope I meet a guy like that. They are rare. In fact, I have never even seen or known ONE.

It's like a species that is almost gone...lol. I'm tired of "getting dolled up" to get someone's attention. One of these days, it would be nice to wake up to someone that likes me in sweatpants and no make-up...haha. You give me hope that they are still out there. Thanks! Smile

I'd rather be single than be with a guy who only wanted me for my looks. Yes that's 99.9% of guys. You ever notice that they seem to like stupid bitchy girls? That's what I've noticed. I have a few really nice male friends who are dating really bitchy (but pretty) girls. And I always think, ok that's great for you if all you care about is having sex with someone hot, but once you marry her, she'll eventually not be hot anymore and then what? Better to find someone with a great personality. That is if you aren't so shallow you'd drown in an inch of water Smile

For me, I had to look outside the box and date outside my "type" before I found the right person. So my BF now is my height, very athletic, and kind of nerdy too. I used to date mostly really tall bouncer type guys. They were mostly jerks Smile

Oh man...yes, I do notice that!! (guys that date bitchy girls) I think it's because THEY have low self-esteem. Kind of sad.

I found "him" too! My BF loves me without makeup, prefers me without actually, which I think is just stupid. LOL Whatever. There are plenty of good guys out there, I don't think they are all bad.

If you want a "good guy" - go to church. If you want to find an intellectual guy - go to the library. If you want some fun, by all means hit the bars. The grocery store one does work, no matter how cliche it may seem. Other great ways of meeting the opposite sex are work and mutual friends.
Welcome to your journey - May it be prosperous.

I wanted a nice, dorky guy... I found him on World of Warcraft... >>

He's a big guy, over 300lbs. But I love every single one of those pounds. He's warm and cuddly and I just love him so, so much.

We started dating when I was maybe... 230lbs, and now with my sexy 167lbs, he couldnt be a happier man Razz All our friends tell him that he should start losing weight too before his hot girlfriend dumps him LOL.

Vegan, P90X grad and happy Smile

I also found mine at work. We were actually best friends for 1 1/2 years years before we ever started dating. To me its important to be friends before you can think love.
