Hi, I would like to download the fatsecret app to my blackberry, but I can't find it in blackberry world although the site says it should be there. Anybody know anything about using fatsecret on the blackberry curve?

don't know about the curve, but i believe it's avail. i have the bold and it works great. if you have the blackberry app world, search for "fatsecret" (no spaces) and it should be the first to pop up. and it's free!

I was trying to find it too. Good to know it works. I was kind of nervous about downloading if it was going to be an exercise in frustration to use.

It's located in BB App World as Calorie Counter by Fat Secret. I use it on my BB9000 Bold and it works great. Allows you to synch with you primary internet application

or, you could try going on to the blackberry website. i believe they have all the apps by compatible devices (i could be wrong), but i know it's much easier to search for apps that way.

I used to have the BB Curve (I now have the Tour) and the operating system on the Curve (I can't remember the exact version right now) doesn't support the Fat Secret app, so if it's not showing up in your results on App World, that is why. You have to have an OS of 4.6 or higher in order to get the FS app.

I have the BB Tour and it works great on it. Just go to the BB app store. Crackberry doesn't have it.

That sucks that the curve does not support it. They ought to change it cause the curve is one of the more popular bb's. It says OS 4.6/higher OR a trackball... the curve has a trackball... man that really suks. Grr...
