So someone tell me who to believe...the jar of regular mayo says 0 carbs per tbsp but the label on this website says 3.5 per tbsp. I really want to believe the jar label. Any feedback?

The website is wrong, trust the jar. Mayo DOES have carbs, however, I believe half a carb every two tablespoons or something like that.

I agree...go with the jar info. Website stats are general information; it's best to always go with the food label itself.

Mayo does not have carbs, however it does have sugar in it so read your ingredients.

If it has added sugars it has carbs. Look at the ingredients. Also, mayonaise I believe is made with eggs and eggs have carbs. You have to be aware of individual ingredient's carb counts to be able to verify what your label says.

I think it's about .5g carb per serving. Try to find a sugar-free one.

Typical full fat mayo (most brands) have 0.045g. net carbs., so it would take 23 Tbsp. to equal 1 carb. The only mayo I have found that doesn't add sugar is Duke's brand mayo. The carb amount would be so negligible in a few tablespoons, you would not need to count them.

worry more about the fat than the carbs. Either reading could be right, but even so, 3.5 grams carb is nothing-about 12 calories. I use Hellman's light mayonnaise. It's almost free

LOL stars.
I don't think you get it.
Atkins is a HIGH fat, LOW carb nutritional plan.
Too many products tout "LOW FAT" and add sugar. That is the entire basis of a controlled carbohydrate nutritional approach.
Fat is GOOD. It naturally helps us control hunger.
And 3.5 carbs from mayo is HUGE if you are limited to 20 per day.

The food entries on this site are often wrong. Definitely go with the jar. Change the entry if you can.

So frustrated!
8 pounds in a month is pretty great. That is 2 pounds per week. That is the far-end of the range of what you can leave and keep it off.
