I used this method before and I had NO cellulite after (I started out with plenty).

1) Toning exercises every day

2) Very firm massage of the thighs. I did this in the shower using hair conditioner. You push down very firmly and squish the fat as much as possible, as hard as you can stand it.

3) Used coffee grinds rubs. You take a pile of used coffee grounds into the shower with you and rub it into your thighs. Again, as hard as you can stand.

4) Tanning.

5) Loads of moisturizer on the thighs daily.

This is what the 'stars' do to keep their legs looking the way they do; they were NOT born that way.
I will have some before and after pics in a couple of months. Smile

i've heard that rubbing helps. my aunt did step two for fourty-five minutes every day, only after the shower & with cocoa butter & it made quite a difference.

yeah. And the coffee grinds are supposed to help because of the caffeine. Really, as you said, it is the rubbing that makes the most difference. I am going to get 'airbrushed' before my vacation and I will post pics of how much that helps as well.

the coffee bit is interesting. it makes me wonder if green tea dregs could help at all. i might have to test that out.

Coconut oil use it!!! Cook with it... rub it in!!! either way ingesting it helps speed up metabolism... Rub it in the area to help break down the fat causing it... Just wanted to add that... I heard the coffee ground work too never tried it but anything that works lol

Fat itself does not cause what is often referred to as 'cellulite". I'm fairly certain that it's an issue with connective tissue failing to retain fat below the skin's surface in a smooth form.

(Female connective tissue is lateral/parallel while male connective tissue is criss-crossed. Lucky them!)

I don't think it becomes an issue of what you use to massage the affected areas so long as you massage the affected areas to increase blood flow to keep your connective tissues healthy. Other than that, losing a few extra lbs can help smooth out the area by shrinking fat cells which are forcing their way through gaps in the connective tissue.

Sadly, as we age, connective tissues start to go awry by stiffening or loosening in various places and you end up with dimples and loose skin. That's life. All women are affected somewhere on their bodies.

If you're really set on using coffee as a rub for the caffeine benefit, go with a non-brewed espresso grind for max caffeine absorption. Brewing coffee not only strips the beans of most of the caffeine but also changes the pH balance. Personally, I'd rather drink a cup o' joe than rub coffee into my legs which will likely do nothing for fat cells.

If you're still set on attempting to solve the cellulite issue before reaching your goal weight, I suggest convincing your sweetie into giving you a deep tissue massage or getting a professional one done once a month.

Good luck with all that! Smile

P.S. Losing 50lbs significantly reduced the appearance of cellulite dimples in my legs. Diet, exercise, massage and 100% PURE Cocoa butter found at most health-food stores were all I used.

coconut oil can make you break out though, so keep it away from pimple-prone areas Razz

Cellulite is caused by fat pockets underneath the skin, often exacerbated by issues of hydration, diet, inactivity and poor circulation. Skinny people can have cellulite just as heavy people can, but a proper diet and exercise can reduce it dramatically. Nothing you do to the outside of your body is going to eliminate it entirely, even if it makes it look better. Applying products externally can improve the texture of your skin and sometimes even make cellulite less noticeable, but it's not going to get rid of it.

Rubbing can help, because cellulite is often caused by circulation issues which a good massage can assist with. But, if you eat right and get plenty of exercise, it's neither necessary nor particularly helpful.

Tanning is an especially bad idea. I know, it sucks, because muscles and skin tend to look really nice with a little golden sheen. I'm a very fair person, and my body looks much better with a bit of color. I'm not saying that getting sun is an entirely bad thing, but you have to be careful not to overdo it. Tanned skin is damaged skin. I'd rather look 5 pounds heavier now than have wrinkles, moles and, god forbid, skin cancer in 10 years.

"Diet, exercise, massage and 100% PURE Cocoa butter found at most health-food stores were all I used."

Ummmm, isn't this pretty much the same list I gave? Trust me, the rubbing made the difference. Don't believe the hype about the kind of cream you use, as a posted, I use hair conditioner, so obviously it is all the same. And yes, dropping weight would have lessened it, but we have genetically bad cellulite in my family, so I do not see real results unless I smash my thighs daily. If you really want dimple free legs it is the only thing known to make a difference if you have cellulite but are not over weight.

And as for the 'tanning' you can always opt for spray tan (this is what I am going to do) and they can spray just your legs. Now if you only go a couple of shades darker than you are, I think this is a great way to help cover the 'cheese'. Very Happy
Thank you,

Water will not wash away cellulite.

I always had cellulite, even as a skinny-fat teenager. Of course I didn't know what skinny-fat was then. I just thought I was fat and flabby, though I was probably around a size 10 or 12.

I say I had cellulite. I don't anymore, and it's not that I'm skinny.

I suspect it has to do with the fats I eat. I only eat saturated fats and olive oil. I have eaten very little vegetable oil for years. My diet is mostly meat/poultry/fish, vegetables, fruit, and some nuts.

They say it takes about 5 years for they fat in your body to be replaced. The liquid fats you ate 5 years ago are being replaced by the fats you are eating today.

Maybe it's not true. But what is true is that I am 58, am the same size I was as a teenager, but have far less cellulite than I did back then.

I recently tried a product that help get rid of cellulite and stretch marks in any area of your body. Its an all natural product that can tighten and tone in as little as 45 minutes and whats so great about it, is that its not just water loss, once the wrap is removed, the solution keeps working for 3 days, after the 3 days you just use the defining gel or a firming lotion to maintain the results. With my first wrap I lost 1.5 inches, measured 3 days later with another .5in loss!!! I am so excited about trying their other products. If you want to know more let me know!!!
