Last year I lost 30 lbs following the WW plan. Now, I count calories as well as WW points, but have a longer way to go (gained it all back over the winter--eep! Silly east coast winters). Looking forward now, moving forward now, and enjoying the relief my body is feeling back on the PLAN.

Corifeo comment is simple, clear and correct. We all have a tendency to complicate things. I agree, less calories then we need to maintain will cause weight loss.

This is a good starting point, but you really need an exercise plan to maximize the results. Even if it is just walking. Get moving!
