I have been so diligent staying on program. I didn't let the baklava I ate earlier in the week get me of course. That is such a change from the way I used to view missteps. One thing I have noticed is not having enough fiber in my program. So I am adding more legumes. We are supposed to have a minimum of 25 grams a day. I have been way below that except for the days I've eaten black or red beans. Especially since I love them. Add some fresh salsa and I'm good to go.

Great! I think that is such a key thing, too. If we do get off course, we can't let it get us down and stuck in a cycle of more eating and guilt. I've been learning how important that is. Great job with that. A snack of hummus, if you like it, and cut up veggies is a great way to get those beans in. I made some without tahini--it was really easy and had a lot of fresh lemon. Seemed lighter and more fresh than the regular kind but if you do the premade kind there are lots of great varieties to pick from.

Good job rebounding, we have to keep moving forward or we will be stuck talking about making changes rather than doing it.

So frustrated!
8 pounds in a month is pretty great. That is 2 pounds per week. That is the far-end of the range of what you can leave and keep it off.
