What juices would be compatable with the Take off Juice for LA weight loss? My husbands wants to do the take off next week and just wondering what juice would be comparable?

V8 Fusion is NOT a comparable juice to the Take Off. V8 Fusion is primarily carbs, and even a serving of the light version of the drink counts as two fruits instead of one. I have tried Knudsen's Organic Morning Blend juice since someone else posted on this site that it was similar. However, in looking at the actual ingredients in the juices and comparing nutrients, they are nowhere near similar.
If your husband, or anyone, wants to do a fasting (which is what Take Off really is) I suggest they do some research online or find a good book. I have tried to follow take-off before with having four mandarin oranges with all the protein and green veggies but it does not work as well and I DO NOT recommend doing it.

I have used the Hollywood 48 juice with the Takeoff diet and it works pretty well. It is similar but certainly not exact and since my center closed and I got some bad take off juice off of ebay, it is what I have available to me.

What is "pretty well"? 2-3lbs? Where do you get Hollywood 48? My center closed also and I refuse to drive 1 1/2 hr one way to the closest center and I also refuse to buy any more of their products in Bulk!!

I've used the Hollywood 48 and had just about the same results as I did with Take Off. I got it at Walgreens. I limited my foods to 6 oz of lean protein a day and as many steamed or raw GREEN vegetables as I needed to keep hunger at bay. I lost 4 lbs over 3 days and it was pretty much painless.

I use the Slim Fast snack bars to replace the LA lites and I also use the Luna bars. Works about the same - no difference in weight loss or cravings for me then when I was using LA's products. I get my Hollywood 48 at Wal-greens too and lose about 2-3 pounds each time similar to when I used Take-Off. No longer have a center so I make the best adaptations as I can and it is definitely alot cheaper.

You are using them and still having about a two lb. a week loss? I asked about the Slim Fast bars and was told they were to much a starch. I am not using any bars and stepped up a plan and now I'm only losing about .8 to 1.2 lb a week.

The best thing you can use rather than the Take off Juice is plain Cantaloupe. One half a cantaloupe a day and all the veggies you can eat will give you similar fiber intakes and keep your blood sugar steady. Limit yourself to three servings of protein a day though as more than that will add too much sodium to your diet (something most centers don't tell you). I used to work there, by the way. As for the bars, the best thing you can do it add 2 1/2 protiens in snack form and one full starch. That's about what they came out to. This also allows you to vary your meals easier and leave things like fruit and veg for snacks.

Sorry, that's two half protein servings. Just wanted to make that clear. One protein in whole but split it up among snacks like nuts and cheese sticks.

So frustrated!
8 pounds in a month is pretty great. That is 2 pounds per week. That is the far-end of the range of what you can leave and keep it off.
