Has anyone tried any of those pills that are supposed to help you detox your colon, and remove all the 'sludge' that has accumulated? If so, are there any you recommend, or is it all a bunch of crap? (lol - no pun intended).

I haven't but I take Milk of Magnesia. I can't forsee having anything left in me when that kicks in! I take it before bed if I feel stopped up and then plan to stay home a bit in the morning!

I took that once before a medical procedure, and almost didn't make it to the toilet.

I think it's a good idea to detox once in a while. I usually do it once in the spring- kind of like spring cleaning for my body Smile However, you can overdo it. By using detox products too often you can cause dehydration and upset the electrolyte balance in your body which can cause some serious problems.

I'm going to the doctor in a couple of weeks - and will ask him about this. I feel I need one too. I'm just scared he will make me have a colonoscopy! YUCK
