Hi everyone. I am trying to get my weight to 120 but even when I do (I was at 125 last year and in the best shape I've ever been) but I still had cellulite all over my legs. I even went & paid to have velashape done (very expensive) - it helped to contour but didn't get rid of any cellulite
. I'm still battling my cellulite and if I could diminish some of it, I would be so much happier with my body image. Has anyone tried Dr. Murad's The Cellulite Solution (by taking vitamins and following basically what I'm following now, Fat Smash Diet, and dry rubbing your legs with a brush. I heard great reviews. I would try maybe Goodbye cellulite by Nivea - has anyone tried that? But I don't want to try another expensive solution that may not work. I know it's in the genes but I feel like I have way more than most people. Thanks!

I don't know about other women but my cellulite disappears when I do a lot of fitness focusing on toning the muscles in my thighs. I've used only one type of commercial cream for that years ago which didn't work. Now, I don't bother. I go the fitness way. I wear my swimsuit and shorts in the summer time and don't pay attention to it. It's part of who I am.
Work on your body image to make it positive instead. Once you accept yourself with dimples and all, you'll be happier because we always find something that displeases us about our bodies when we dwell on what we see to be faults and defects.

I read an article a long time ago that talked about how increasing circulation would help break up and even out the fat bumps(cellulite). Mine was never really bad, but you can't really tell it was there at all now, and that was before I started dieting. My biggest tricks/habits was using soap and body wash in circular movements on my thighs and butt. I also applied moisturizer in the same movements everyday.
I would also recommend body scrubs, I bet they would do wonders too... not to mentioin exfoliate and what not.

My cellulite is less noticeable as I lose weight(fat). Toning up by doing weights definitely helps, which also helps reduce fat by replacing it with muscle. I always wanted to try MBT shoes. They are expensive, but I read a magazine article comparing creams, yoga, and these shoes. MBT shoes helped the women slim down their thighs a couple of inches, as did yoga. Keep up with the weight loss and I think you will be happier with the appearance of your legs.

MBT shoes are like these crazy moon shoes. One of my girlfriend's has a pair and they help with her foot/knee/back problems. They run about $200-$400, so they don't come cheap, but they are really orthopedic and are definitely a work out for your legs and core since you basically have to relearn how to walk. I tried my friends, and it is pretty neat. I wish I could buy some, but it just isn't in the budget for me right now. They have some cute styles too; when you check out the catalog they look at little weird, but once you have them on, you don't really see the difference when you are wearing pants, but you can definitely feel the difference in your legs and the way you walk!

"Several factors influence whether a person has cellulite and how much they have. Your genes, your gender, the amount of fat on your body, your age, and the thickness of your skin are all associated with the amount of cellulite you have or how visible it is.
"Whatever the cause of cellulite, it's important to know that there aren't any miracle products, treatments, or medicines that can make it go away. For example, some fancy salon treatments that promise to get rid of cellulite simply cause your skin to puff up through deep massaging, temporarily reducing the appearance of cellulite.
"If you decide that you want to try to reduce the amount of cellulite you have, the best thing to do is to decrease excess body fat. If you think — and your doctor agrees — that you are overweight, eat fewer calories and exercise more. Experts agree that an exercise routine that combines aerobic exercise with strength training is the best weapon against cellulite. In the meantime, if you want to conceal your cellulite, try using a self-tanning product. Cellulite tends to be a little bit less noticeable on darker skin."

wii fit?
Wii Active is a lot more hardcore than Wii fit. Wii fit is more fun, working out but still has a light game feel. Wii Active is more like having a personal trainer.
