Do People Treat You Differently Since You Lost Weight?
what things you feel that changes JUST because you become thinner ? what sort of things you losing weight allow you to do ?
I need some motivation so I've been thinking about how things will change if I lose weight. I've always been really shy and I think getting rid of extra weight will give me more confidence and I know I'll be less tired, and so on.
I want to know from the people who have successfully lost weight, how has it really changed you?
thanks

My emotional health has improved drastically. So much greater confidence and a feeling of sexiness. More attention from the opposite sex. I feel at peace with my relationship with food. Picking out clothes is many times easier. And I do feel less shy. I look forward to hearing about all the positive changes you experience as you lose, too, F15!

Iv'e been thin and thick. Currently I am thick for several circumstances and then on top of that I had surgery on my knee last month, so I was instructed to not exercise for a while and guess what I gained 10 lbs. Any way don't fret, but when you are thinner and you have lost weight shopping becomes fun again and this gives you automatic motivation and sad but true but it seems everyone is nicer to you. So keep stylin and profilin!!!!

my difference is with my kids and my husband, with my husband I feel more open to share myself with him, more loving, with my kids I have more energy to get up and do things with them, to not be a couch potatoe but activly play with them. It is freeing and yes I smile more and feel good inside and out. don't let it be about your outer beauty,,, let it be about becoming healthy and living a fuller more productive life. Not that heavy people don't... but you know how your body feels when it is heavy... you won't feel that way anymore when you lose the weight.

I feel a bit more secure in my skin. I can run/walk longer than before. I eat much less and don't feel hungry all the time like when I was eating the wrong stuff before. I still do not see myself as thin, but I am much thinner!! My highest was 230 and now I am 205. It is exciting to know that I have changed my lifestyle to better me. I have more confidence and energy, and feel a bit more sexy.
Eventually I want to be a healthy weight; and that means leaving a whole person behind.

oh my gosh, you have no idea. I have lost 120 pounds now, and people treat me so much differently. But its how i feel that the real reward. I feel like i have a shot at life now. I know i have accomplished something great.
And I feel so much happier- more content with life itself, rather than comparing it to a daily chore or something.
Embracing happiness- Its the most amazing feeling in the world. To feel like you *deserve* to be happy. Because I have earned it.
I cant wait until i am just comfortable in my own skin- thats all I want.
And now that i have been through this whole thing, i have so much more compassion and empathy for those who struggle. But its worth it in every way. so worth the fight!

i can breathe!!! i can play in the floor with my little girl, and it's no longer an act of congress to get back out of the floor! i feel like i felt ten years ago only better because i'm not only getting skinny again-i'm in a lot better shape. there's a big difference,i feel, in just being skinny and actually being healthy. before i gained weight i was just skinny, but now i'm on my way to being healthy as well. that feels awesome!!thank You,Lord!
