I'm not sure about carb free, but rum and coke is low, as well as Michelob Ultra beer (2.6 gram carbs and only 95 cal) that's what I prefer...I need to keep it simple! Red Wine is even less than the Michelob, I hear!
see ya!

You know, I bet one of the problems with any alcohol, though, would be the lowering of inhibitions and the increase of impulsiveness. If I go out and have something to drink, my big problem is that I start rationalizing that I "need something on my stomach" to slow the alcohol's absorption rate. That's when I get stupid and get into the pretzels.

Rum and coke is not low in carbs.
Your best bet is to get vodka with club soda and lime. That's what I drank when I did atkins. What didn't help was getting so drunk on those that I ate cheese fries on the way home!!! LOL!

Faster Metabolism?
Eat more fat. The fat will suppress your appetite and make it so that you can eat less. If you have enough fat in your diet, you will never feel hungry.

So frustrated!
8 pounds in a month is pretty great. That is 2 pounds per week. That is the far-end of the range of what you can leave and keep it off.

You should be able to add most of your foods by grams. If the only option is a teaspoon, there are 28 grams (dry) in a teaspoon.

portion control! ack!
No gimmicks. Just pre-portion your snacks ahead of time, and only grab one portion. For instance, i portion my nuts into 1oz plastic baggies. Also, if you are concerned about portion size in general, ...
