I was just wondering if you reward yourself for hitting certian goals, and what you are planning on doing (or what you have done), i.e. buying new clothes, or getting a facial, etc.

For me, when I hit 150 (though not my total goal) I will have lost a total of 75 pounds (I'm 24.4 pounds away!) I'm going to get this tattoo on my lower back that I've been wanting to get ever since my first diet back in 2002!!! Its an Asian designed Panda, and I will also have some bamboo, cherry blossoms, and Chinese writing around it.

So what about you??

My Mom actually offered to help me reach my goal, by giving me an incentive for hitting my goal weight (she is a Lifetime WWer, and is in good shape). My incentive is $1,000 for me to use however I want.

I know it seems a little weird for my mom to offer me that, but my parents have offered incentives to my younger brothers (who have challenges with school) to graduate...and since school is not a challenge for me (I just finished grad school! YAY!) she asked me what she could give me an incentive for, and I said losing weight.

So thats my biggest incentive! But I reward myself with little things along the way...getting to have a drink or two with friends, eating out at a healthy restaurant, and when I hit 20 lb marks, buying a new pair of jeans! Smile

I'm not so good with the awarding goals. I have been really bad for over indulging treats. But I do have a few things I do. Like as long as I'm going a good job about sticking to the diet I will buy things like berries(they are a treat for me since I work with a tight budget), and then put a handful of them in my morning cereal. My boyfriend is an amazing help. He bought me rollerblades for my last birthday cause he knew I wanted to get more active. And he comments on my progress all the time and is a really great sport about going to Pita Pit or other places that have more diet friendly foods.
I found buying clothes that fit nicely at my new size is a great motivator to loose more weight so I can buy smaller clothes. I will never forget how great it felt to tell the sales girl that I needed a size smaller Very Happy

I am going for a breast reduction this fall which has been a great motivator and reward.
For final rewards, I get to re-do my whole waredrobe(I really like shopping). And I finally get to have a bikini and go swimming... and to the beach.

I will also have the satisfaction that I made a big goal/challenge for myself, and I kicked ass. Very Happy

I promised myself a long time ago that once I got below 200 and stayed there, I'd get a spa massage. I'm almost there!

Oh! I totally have been rewarding myself at every 10 lb mark with these totally awesome hair pieces. I'm getting my second one later this week (though it's overdue--I'm actually closer to 30 down than 20 down). Here's a pic of me in the old one:

Oh! And I totally hear Deserve Victory on the berries--I think of them as a super expensive, but super non-guilty candy bar. Very Happy

- He sounds wonderful! Mine is really supportive too, it really helps.

I recently bought new shoes that are really comfortable and great for walking to go along with my more active lifestyle. When I go down five more or can jog an extra 10 minutes I'm buying a gym bag. When I reach my goal I'm buying this:

I tend to buy clothes as a bit of a reward.

My biggest reward for when I'm more in-shape is seeing pictures of me on my horses and actually NOT looking like a fat lump squishing poor horsey Smile

I do this too! Nothing makes me feel better than wearing something that fits properly and know that I look good(better than before). Also brings alot of comments and compliments about the progress I have made. Very Happy

I will buy new clothes when I get to my goal... hopefully in time for the NZ Cup!

I have always said that if I break 200 lbs I will get a tattoo. At one time I had a list of rewards for each 10 lbs lost. The biggie for me is breaking 200 lbs because I have not been under 200 lbs in a long time. I am going to get that tattoo by the end of August!

I have a white gold chain with a cross and a heart on it. they look cool together. I would like to have these (small not big) on the inside of my arm about 4 inches up from my wrist, so I can see it. Faith and Love. that's what it would represent. I need to lose 23 lbs to break 200.

I give myself little rewards along the way. Maybe it is a new nail polish or a pair of shoes. I have had to buy a whole new wardrobe this summer since my 30 lb loss. Nothing from last year fit me. I have been rewarding myself quite a bit! ha Rewards are good. I haven't really decide what my BIG reward will when I reach my goal. I will have to think about that!Very Happy

i am going to travel to norway to have an amazing tattoo artist do one on my lower calf just above my ankle of a pink rose (a long standing symbol in my life) with some writing below it and maybe two swallows next to it.

I can't really use clothes as a reward because I *need* new clothes every time I drop four or five pant sizes.

I've been thinking about getting a second tattoo after so many pounds but I really would love to think of some other stuff.

I too am thinking of getting a tattoo when I reach my goal weight! I'd like to get one of a female lion with two lion cubs (representative of my two boys!). I'm not sure where to put it though. Any suggestions?
