A few weeks ago, I went to the supermarket and noticed that there was a entire line of salad dressings labled South Beach Diet, signed by Arthur Agatston, and manufactured by Kraft Foods (in their new bottle style). They were placed in the most prominent position at eye level. These may not be new but, I had not seen them before. Yesterday, when I returned to the supermarket the only one left was the Italian Dressing. It was marked at half price and the sign said "Closeout." I purchased all six bottles since I like to use Zesty Italian by Kraft from time to time and it looked similar. I wondered if the experiment was deemed a failure before I even got started with them. Today, I tried the Italian Dressing (for breakfast) and it was excellent. I hope we haven't lost these forever. Very Happy

I have seen a few at our Wal-mart. But mostly just the ranch. I used to love Kraft's Zesty Italian several years ago, and then they changed it a little, now I don't think it is quite as good. We buy the Good Season's Zesty Italian packets and mix our own. It is really good. I think Good Season's has recently started bottling their Zesty Italian but we haven't tried it yet.

Kraft and South Beach have *teamed up*in the last few months to produce a line of South Beach friendly foods.....I buy the SB 1% cottage cheese (by Kraft of course) and it's yummy.....a bit less fat and 1 less gram of carb.....In our groc store - we have several varieties of SB dressings.....I think they are here to stay! Sure HOPE so anyway!

On the Kraft website, all it shows for SB dressings in Ranch, Italian and Balsamic Vinaigrette.

South Beach and Kraft have been teamed up for at least three years and I hope they don't discontinue the dressings!

I am in the process of posting a few dressing recipes from South Beach, that are great. Though it's the convenience of having the whole bottle..I make just enough for a week or 2, and it doesn't take long to make them either...and it's using items that if you are on south beach, you should have in your pantry anyhow!

I find store bought dressings to vinegary or something..the only dressing I like is Ranch from a bottle...other than that I make all of mine.

I hope the recipes will help

Hmmm, I'll keep my eye out for the Good Season's Gracie. Thanks for the tip.
