I'm new the fatsecret, but have dieted on and off since college. I was at my lowest weight last year (143; on the LAWL plan) for my wedding, but have since then gained 30 lbs. It's unbelievable how fast you can put on weight!

At any rate, right now I feel motivated, but I know that I won't always feel that way and hope that this is a place where I can find some help for those tough times!

My family of three includes myself, my husband, and a 3 year old cocker spaniel.

Looking forward to the journey!

Hi Sarah.

Welcome to fatsecret....I did'nt notice which diet you have picked. I'm on medifast right now and have been on south beach also...You'll find lots of support here and lots of often and remember to journal!

Probably lowering your calories by at least 500 a day and eating clean is your best bet.

Good for all of us who are trying to lose.. Only 2 pds this week. want more but I know that's not how it happens. Ive heard if ya loose it slowly it will stay off... 35 pds down since august 4, 2015. ...
