I'm new the fatsecret, but have dieted on and off since college. I was at my lowest weight last year (143; on the LAWL plan) for my wedding, but have since then gained 30 lbs. It's unbelievable how fast you can put on weight!

At any rate, right now I feel motivated, but I know that I won't always feel that way and hope that this is a place where I can find some help for those tough times!

My family of three includes myself, my husband, and a 3 year old cocker spaniel.

Looking forward to the journey!

Welcome, Farmer! I'm going to reiterate the other comments on the 1000 calorie plan - that's too few calories for anyone who has 100 pounds to lose. That's probably too few for someone ...

Hello from South Texas
When I cook at home, I create a recipe that I add to my cookbook, that way I can get an accurate calorie count, and also duplicate at a later date.
