Can anyone tell me if edamame is allowed?? If you don't know it is a green soy bean. I enjoy them as a snack. I appreciate the help!!

I don't remember. It is considered a bean, though, like pinto or otherwise. What does it say for those kinds of beans?

Love the food that loves you back.

OK, it is coming back to me now. I believe that 1/2 cup is one serving, but allowed on Phase 1 because I remember you can do SBD if you're vegetarian so beans provide the extra protein. Smile Good luck with Phase 1!

I actually have the SB Diet book and it has a Edamane Salad recipe listed under Phase One.
I haven't tried the recipe but it has 1 (16 oz) bag of frozen shelled edamane with other ingredients and serves 4. I hope this helps.
