It seems like all the other teams have their own happening place to hang out, so why not us? We are the mighty green jaguars, after all!

As an interesting fact, did you know that jaguars (the cat, not the car) follow a low-carb diet? They get balance in their diet by eating over 85 different types of meat! Bad Grin

Wikipedia wrote:
The jaguar is a stalk-and-ambush rather than a chase predator. The cat will walk slowly down forest paths, listening for and stalking prey before rushing or ambushing.

So remember folks, slow and steady wins the race! 1% this week, 1% next week... -- in six weeks, you'll be a much healthier you!

I am psyched and ready for this challenge. We are a good team and will work together to WIN. I don't always exercise but today-- I just did 20 minutes on my stationary bike. I think my husband thinks I've lost my mind. Before I go out today I plan to do at least 10 minutes on my Ab Lounger which at this moment is being used for clothes storage-- for the past few months. Good Luck to All!!!!!!!!!

Let's go team!

Anyone have an experience with a swiss/yoga ball? I'm thinking of getting one but wanted to hear some thoughts first. I've read that even replacing my chair with one would help tone muscle since it takes effort to stay perched on top of one.

I think the swiss balls are fantastic!! you can do everything with them, and they are great for posture and core strength!! I don't have one, but I often use them at the gym! I weighed in today...no loss, but i'm good...still truckin'! Will make some adjustments! Did have a good workout though! Let's do this!!!!

I have everyone's initial weight and as a team, we weigh a ton -- literally! We're starting off at 2176.6! As a team, our goal for week 1 will be a loss of 21.77 pounds. If we meet our goal every week for the next six weeks, we'll collectively lose 130 pounds!

Man, today was one of the most stressful days I've had in awhile. Not only did I end up working a twelve hour shift, but my co-workers kept talking about ice cream sandwiches. I resisted and the only sweet thing I treated myself to was cream cheese.
