Just curious about what others order in restraunts when they are out?Usually I order a salad with chicken and a low fat dressing on the side but the other day I ordered a baked potatoe and put salsa on it. It was delisious. What do you guys eat in restraunts?

Grilled fish is always a good choice. Salads with dressing on the side, grilled chicken, broth based soup, shrimp cocktail, and fresh fruit for dessert are some other choices that are lower in calories and fat. That pretty much sums it up for what I order if I want to still lose weight that week!

I'll order the grilled chicken with the steamed or grilled seasonal veggies or tortilla soup with no tortillas or cheese added (then it's just chicken soup with veggies). I don't want to look at a salad at a restaurant. Fish or shrimp or crab legs sometimes. Now I'm hungry.Embarassed

I have lots of favorites,LOL.

Mexican: Chicken Fajitas or Carnitas, hold the tortillas. Instead of rice I get a side salad.

Chinese: Egg fu young and Chicken w/ Vegetables stir fry

Red Robin: BBQ Chicken salad

Applebees: Steak w/ double veggies on the side and a side ceasar salad (hold the croutons)

Love the food that loves you back.

Take it one day at a time!

If I go to a restaurant I order the appetizer tray th steak the pasta the bread the wine, but I always go to another one to get the dessert. It fools the waiter at the first place. Get over going OUT without being OUT people. Just sayin'...HaHa!

Right. I've had some out there for years. Looks like a sleepy corner of the website they don't update. But it's useful to me for those recipes that I eat on occasion.
