What are your top 5 motivators for losing this weight that you can't do at your current weight?[/

So today marks my ONE WEEK with fatsecret and I have met a lot of very nice and motivating woman! I have a question for my buddies that I came across from another Fatsecret buddy.......

What are your top 5 motivators for losing this weight that you can't do at your current weight?

Mine would be...
1. To be Healthier
2. To have energy to play with my son and husband
3. To get new clothes I like not ones that look "ok"
4. To be able to ride ALL the rides at the amusement park
5. To just be back to a size that will help me appreciate everything again, all this extra weight is killing more than my health it is killing my soul too

1.Shop for great clothes.
2.Look beauiful in my clothes.
3.Feel comfortable in my clothes.
4.Look sexy without any clothes on.
5.Feel confident without any clothes on.
If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything.

Wouldn't it be great if we could make a master list of "motivators" that we could all add to. Hey Mandie160 I agree with all of yours and would add

6. Be a great role model for my daughter and granddaughter.

2. To wear button down blouses with no "rolls" on my back and not worry about them popping open across my breasts Bad Grin

3. Get into a bikini for the first time in my life

4. Have more energy

5. Shop in whatever stores I want and look good in the clothes!

1. Be able to keep up with my son (15) when he wants to go for a bike ride

2. Feel less self-concious (sp?)

3. Be able to wear clothes that are appropriate for my job and not look like "a sack of potatoes with a string tied arond the middle" (quote from my dad0

4. Health..I have high blood pressure

I'm with you jenduffer, I too want to be healthy when I'm ready to become a mommy.

1. Get healthy so I can have a healthy pregnancy
2. Stay healthy and fit for life
3. Be comfortable in my skin, with or without clothes, when appropriate Wink
4. Keep my cholesterol down (I got it down in the last 3 months to normal levels by doing Atkins and working out)
5. Wear a size 6 again. (almost there)

Love the food that loves you back.

Take it one day at a time!

2. To have more energy
3. To get back into my "good" jeans
4. To be able to enjoy my new grandson due in May
5. To actually get into the pool this coming summer instead of sitting in the lawn chair burning up and sweating.Very Happy

1. No more jiggly back and tummy.
2. Smaller bbs.
3. Im sick of being self-conscious.
4. I can comfortably wear sz 2-4.
5. Its all about disease-prevention baby!

Comfort!!!!! I refuse to have diabetes, hypertention, pain/surgery related to obesity like the knee surgeries.

2. So I can throw out the size 10's-14's that have gathered in my closet over the past 3 years.
3. To motivate my husband to lose weight.
4. To teach my kids healthy eating and activity.
5. So I can wear a string BIKINI in Mexico this summer! Smile

1. To live. My heart couldn't take my weight any longer.
2. To get off all my blood pressure pills.
3. To reflect on my outside how happy I am on the inside
4. To feel sexy for my hubby and that others don't look at me when I'm with my hubby and think, "How did SHE get HIM?"
5. To live my life as a reflection of my daughters too short life, to let her know that I did learn form her example and that I honor her memory and I will always always remember everything she taught me.

1) To have my feet, knees and hips stop sending rude messages to my brain.
2) To look down the bath and see only water not tum.
3) To be able to throw out all those clothers which seem as wide as they are long.
4) Not to have to hope that the news man has a wide angle lens when filming me at work.
5) To be alive to teach my grandchildren to ride once my daughter understands the hints I keep dropping.

1. to prove to everyone that just cuz you're a MOM doesn't mean you can't be HOT!
2.To feel good in a swimsuit or walking around in the NUDE Bad Grin oh yeah, and in clothes hehehehe
3. To increase my cardiac endurance so I can run my first marathon!
4.To prove to myself that I am in control of food, AND that it is not the enemy!! once and for all
5. to get this "dieting" thing figured out and taken car of before my daughter realizes that I am always talking about losing weight! I want us to be active together and eating healthy and NOT OBSESSED about weight!
6. It's vain, but I want to get back in my size 2 skinny jeans again. They are taunting me. I'll be happy with a 4 though..i guess..
