I have lost 8 lbs this week being on South Beach so that is awesome. Hang in there if you haven't lost quite yet, you can absolutely do it!!!

I also lost 8 lbs this week, but it was the same weight that I gained over the holidays. Hoping to continue the trend, and possibly lose another 5 next week.

The weather's been nice here, so I did a lot of walking last week, in addition to being faithful to plan, journaling, drinking all the water, etc.

Have faith in yourself - don't give up - keep trying. All of those platitudes can help if you take them seriously. Or you can be cynical, like I was for a long time. Just keep at it, and try, try, try.
Losing weight is a thing that you can accomplish by NOT doing something.

Depends on your definition of signifinificant. Ive lost 15lbs in 5 weeks and feel great about. Its significant on my frame. I fit alot more pre baby clothes. There are lots more people on here who have lost way more then I have to.

I didn't lose weight as much as body fat and inches. I had it tested at my gym. I lost 17% body fat in 3 months going from 41% down to 24% body fat. I only lost about 5% of my weight because I gained muscle by strength training. The scale isn't the only number you should be watching.

I also went from high cholesterol and triglicerides to normal levels in that same 3 months. That was my major motivation for doing Atkins. It was my biggest accomplishment, getting healthy.

with you having your food journal set to private, nobody can have a look to possibly see where you may be going wrong..... also, if you aren't losing on the scales try using the tape measure, sounds ...

Take small portions....it helps and once u get used to it, u dont miss eating more...cooking a small amount also helps so theres no leftovers..
