Starting tomorrow~any advise?

Hey all, I'm starting SB tomorrow for the 2nd time. I did it about 3 years ago and was very successful. Looking forward to hearing from anyone with advise or someone who like to be a "buddie"

Welcome Skinny Mom and I'm sure your South Beach habits of the past will really help you this time around.

I've only been on SB for a couple of months and I think my two major tips would be 1. meal preparation i.e. get the right type of food in the larder (or fridge :0)) and 2. filling in your weight history on a regular basis as it gives you a real buzz to watching the pounds drop.

Best of luck with your efforts and don't be shocked when those great comments about how you look start coming in from family and friends.

This site is awesome and helped me learn about the glycemic index (helped me with my fast loss right off the bat). I used the list on this site the first few weeks on SB to really give me a good idea what the best foods were even out of the ones were permitted. Best wishes to you! Believe me, you found a great site and people!

I started the SB diet on the 28th and I would gladly be your buddy. I want to lose between 50-60lbs.

I have been following the SB plan since mid October, and have begun Phase I again today, to refocus my efforts. You will love the support here - I suggest posting your weight frequently and following the plan 100% during those first two weeks - it really does help your body adjust to no sugar and carbs and your cravings will magically dissapear. Wishing you much success!
