I just started the diet today and I'm already dreading the drinking of all that cran water. If I drink it hot, do you think that's okay? I can do it all if I warm it up.

In Phase I the cran water is so diluted that you can barely taste the juice. The ratio is 56 oz. of water to 8 oz. of cranberry juice. I say do whatever modifications you need to help you stay on the plan. For instance, I only use 1/4 of lemon in my hot h20 because otherwise it's too tart for me. Just know that the closer you can follow the plan, the faster the results! Smile

IMO, any diagnosis like this should come with a referral to a dietician so that you understand what would work for you. You may want to contact your MD to get a referral. Best wishes!

This is a great time to make your own cranwater while they are in season. I get a bag of cranberries for 99 cents here so you are saving bundles; it is however, a little time consuming.
