I Have Asked This Question Also In My Journal. I Just Wanted To Make Sure My Non-Atkins Followers Are Able To Cast An Opinion.
When Is It A Good Time To Start Decorating The Outside Of Your House Or Your Yard For Christmas? I Am Ready To Decorate Today, But My Friends Are Telling Me To Wait Until After Thanksgiving. I Want My Christmas Decorations Up For Thanksgiving! When Is The Correct Time To Display Christmas Decorations?

Here in Wisconsin we put them up early (right after Halloween) for fear of colder weather and possible snow coming. Putthing them up and turning them on are two different things, I'd put them up early and start turning the lights on Thanksgiving Day!

In my family we always wait until the day after Thanksgiving but my boy-friend's family does it when ever they feel like it - so I think when ever it feels right to you to start decorating. Smile

I think anytime you want! November is a great time to do it and if you look around in the stores.. they already have the Christmas stuff out so why can't you?? We had our lights up and our tree up during our Thanksgiving Dinner last year! I enjoyed watching how excited the kids were. Heck, we were playing Christmas music last night!! Go ahead girl, it's what YOU want!!Very Happy

I need to get mine up, I've sworn I'm going to do it this year. The last 3 years, living somewhere I hate and being alone I've chosen to ignore Christmas, but not this year. I'm goin' through the motions even if I don't have the spirit! Smile
