I ask "what is 200 lbs" because it seem like anyone who is not 200 they think anyone over 200 is like some house-bound slob or something. And when people find out I am close to 300 lbs they look at me differently, in a very bad way. It seems like a lot people have no idea what 200 or 250 or 300 lb people look like. I am not some freak because I wiegh 295, but I do need to loose weight, but I am not less of a person because of my weight. Hopefull I will be less of a person soon. Wink

We are all here for you! No, the way people look at us sucks, but i know that part of it is all in our own minds. If I feel a little rounder than usual one day, I always think that people see it. (They don't!) You are here because you want to be healthier. So that's what you should focus on. Do you feel better? Then you probably look better (healthier, happier) to everyone else. And as the numbers drop you will just keep feeling better and better. Good luck and don't let the scale own you.

This is a good starting point, but you really need an exercise plan to maximize the results. Even if it is just walking. Get moving!
