I would like to have as many buddies as I can, to help keep me motivated.
There are times when I get discouraged, and I know that it's because I'm much alone, I don't get out much with my disabilities, so having a buddy system will, I'm sure, help greatly with keeping me on track to living a healthier lifestyle....

Hi Buddy~ I can relate to not being able to get out much, I'm a quadriplegic. What are your disabilities?
God Bless you!

Hi there, welcome to this site. I have been a member since last year and lost I think 10 kilos then in May went on holidays and have not stopped eating since. Have managed to be on track for one week now and am delighted.

I too have got problems - as long as I can remember I have had trouble with my legs and myh weight now that I am much older am having enourmous difficulty walking - have got pain from the hips down - knees, ankles, toes - what can I say. I have always had trouble but not like this. Am off to see a specialist next month - have been waiting to see this specialist for months and I am worried what he is going to tell me - first of all lose weight and then that I will probably need knee replacements and G'd knows what else. Anyway at the moment I am trying to get some kilos off before seeing him.

Hope you enjoy this site - I am here if you need me. Have a good weekend.

Craving
Well good luck with those challenges. There must be a good reason you feel you can't have just one of the carb, lower calorie beers. I admire your discipline and determination.

weigh in
Good luck! I weigh in every day which has to stop. It is too easy to get caught up in the excitement of seeing the scale drop so much in a week-that is because of water weight I am sure.
