Nope not after reading the side effects. Are you experiencing any of them?

I tried it and didn't like it at all!!!!! You have to be extremely strict or bad things will happen. I'm speaking from experience. I was pretty good, but the side effect were not worth it.

I don't know you personally or your situation, but assuming you are a healthy individual following the WW plan pretty good & adding exercise, 7lbs in a month sounds about par for following weight watchers alone (without alli). Maybe alli takes a while to kick in....

I have used Alli. I did NOT have any serious side effects. Only time I had any problems was if I ate a slice of pizza or maybe a cheeseburger from McD's. That was the only time I had side effects. But my diet is primarily dairy, chicken, eggs, and veggies. No one needs fast food anyway.
Give it a shot. But wait until you are off work for a coupla days. Just in case.

OK lets be blunt. You cannot eat a lot of fat if you take Alli because it does not get digested and goes right through you. FAST. Alli does not distinguish between good and bad fats so you are not getting any essential fatty acids such as omega-3, -6 and -9. These are essential to immune function and helpful for weight loss, not to mention reducing inflammation.
My suggestion: Since you have to go low-fat anyway doing Alli, why not just eat low fat, except for occasional healthy fats that contain essential fatty acids. That way you don't have to suffer incontinence and diarrhea. If you are doing Weight Watchers you are doing something great in the right direction already, IMO.
Love the food that loves you back.
Take it one day at a time!

I have been on Weight Watchers and Alli for the past 10 days. You are allowed 15 grams of fat per meal, otherwise....LOOK OUT! Because of the side-effects I have kept ALL meals below 10 grams of fat...so ALLi has done nothing for me because I don't want to chance ANYTHING happening. I am stopping Alli today because I haven't had enough fat to squeeze anything extra out of me.....plus when I think about it....I get kind of creeped out.....

I took Alli when they first came out and oh my gosh ....... just go dump your food and a bottle of cooking oil in the toilet! Gross!
Diets are like a jar of jalapenos.... the choices you make today might just burn your butt tomorrow!!!

I only recently heard about Alli, but after reading these testamonials, I don't think it will be worth the extra trouble. I rationalized it out, thinking that if you had to limit your intake of fat in order to keep from having bad experiences with Alli, then why couldn't you just avoid the fat and forget the Alli?? the benefit would be NO SIDE EFFECTS! Anyway, dieting usually means you limit your fat intake already!!!
see ya!

I have three boys so it's hard to gross me out. Does it work?? Did you feel like you lost the weight any faster? Pretty expensive I know.

Did both the Alli and WW. Didn't seem to tip the scales in my favor any more then when I followed the points. Also with Alli there is no "banking" points!

You have got to read this article:
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/19587389/
Here's a few choice words from some Alli users:
"“(I)’ve pooped my pants 3 times today, and sorry to get descriptive but it even leaked onto the couch at one point!” writes one user.
It can strike any time — even in the early hours of the morning. One user writes: “(Y)a know how when you start moving around in the morning ya pass a little gas. Well, I did and then went into the bathroom and to my horror I had an orange river of grease running down my leg.”
Maybe some of us need the fear of God and public humiliation to stay on track! I can help but LAUGH and LAUGH at how awful these side effects are.

Have you tried WW without taking this ALLi stuff? I've not heard of it... but shouldn't need any additional help bar either doing core or keeping within your points range. I'm sure others on WW will vouch for me here... just keep on track and you will be fine without.

I always think its funny that someone buys a pill that promises you weight loss IF YOU FOLLOW A DIET PLAN... this one.. restrict fat. Why do you need the pill at all? if you could stick with a diet you would lose without a pill. Our granddaughter went on a herbal pill that she swears by , but even it says, follow a sensible diet plan and exercize.. she says, well of course you have to do that for the pill to work! amazing what we tell ourselves.
I still feel that if there were a "magic pill" out there that helps us lose weight with no effort on our part, no changing our evil hamburger and french fries habits.. that we would all have it and we would all be thin!
you are doing all the work to lose the weight and giving the pill the credit!

Actually, alli specifically states that you will lose 50% MORE weight when you take it than if you followed a reduced fat/calorie plan ALONE. It doesn't promise magic, just a little extra boost. In fact, on the website it tells you: This is not a magic pill, and "alli is not for everyone."
Also, not EVERYONE experiences negative side-effects. Again, on the alli website, there are THOUSANDS of people on the message boards who swear by alli.
Just my 2 cents...
Rachel
p.s. Whatever I lose by Thursday- I'm only giving alli 25% of the credit.

I'm sorry, but I'm not going to pay someone good money to give me a pill that makes me crap my pants! If I need to have my body frightened into making me eat low fat then I may as well just opt for shock therapy instead! I can't think of anything more repulsive than adults running around with oil stains on their pants and smelling like a pig barn! There's a chance it might not happen? Who cares! There's a chance it will! That's enough to keep me away for good!
