Work out but eat after 7PM? Or not work out and eat before 7? My friend has a membership to a Lifetime gym and has been wanting me to go with her. She has a guest pass and I think it would be a great opportunity for me to go check out the gym (their website is amazing!), do a bit of a work out, and hang out with my friend. The only thing is that she can only go at 6. I'm usually sitting down to dinner with DH and DD at that time so we're eating dinner before 7.

Any thoughts?

Hit the gym with your friend at 6, but have a bigger than usual lunch, a lighter dinner and a good snack before the gym (not too heavy, you don't want to cramp up!) and you should be good!

Sounds good to me!! I like the idea of having a bigger lunch. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll let you know how it goes!

It all depends on what time you go to sleep! My Dr. has me not eating after 8:30 and I must stay up 2-3 hours after i eat. It has worked so far because I get home from work at 7 so sometime by the time I cook it's almost 8:30 before I eat. The idea of a more substantial lunch and a good snack before you work out and a lite dinner after is great! Go for the Gym!!!!
