Does anyone know what the purpose of this is? Just curious what it does to aid in the weight loss. (I have got my book in the mail yet)
Is there anyone that skips the hot water? I am asking because I don't do hot liquids very well. This is my first hour on the diet with one hot lemon water down, but it was VERY hard to keep it down. I am wondering if I can skip this or do cold lemon water or does that throw the entire diet off?
PLEASE HELP!

I know were supposed to drink the hot lemon water but I dont like it either - if I feel up to it I drink it and some days I dont. I tried it with lime juice and it is a little better but I think it is supposed to be hot or at the very least luke warm..

I'm not on the Fat Flush Plan, but drinking lemon water, hot or cold is a constant in my life. It helps my body maintain a balance and when I'm not drinking it I feel uneasy. I just love it and I always feel rejuvenated afterwards.

The hot lemon water helps digestion and it is a natural laxative in the morning. I used to have a DIFFICULT time keeping this stuff down but here's how I found a way to keep it down:

I put one part hot water and one part cold water in my glass. Then I add two packets of stevia and stir well. It's actually quite good - like warm lemonade.

I have a cup of hot water, with a little lemon wedge, maybe 1/8th of lemon. It took me awhile to get used to it but I like it now. I used to drink lots of coffee mostly because I like hot drinks, now I sub the lemon water for 1-2 cups of coffee. Its nice.
BTW, i am on LA Weight Loss and lemon water is suggested for digestive purposes.

***Hot lemon water with breakfast-juice of half a lemon to 8 ounces of hot water. Lemon juice promotes intestinal contractions that speed toxin elimination, and hot water stimulates gastric nerves for the most efficient detox.

I don't think that it's going to throw your diet totally off if you do cold water instead. I like to sweeten mine with organic evaporated cane juice...it looks and tastes a lot like white sugar, but it's not processed and bleached. Someone mentioned Splenda, which may be technically ok for fat flush, but beware...it may be derived from sugar, but it is highly processed.

Splenda is made from sugar, and the chemical process they use is not good for Fat Flush. I use cold water with my lemon water. I drink water all day long and have always put lemons in it. I do try to do the hot water once in awhile, and don't forget the cayenne pepper to add to the hot mix, as it speeds up metabolism

Hi
I am one of those weird people who love the taste of lemon whether hot or cold. I stopped taking sugar in my tea a lonf time ago so I am hoping to do this. I am starting on it tommorow and hope to go as long as I can. Any idea on whether the bottled juice makes a difference?

I love cayenne pepper and I put it in every dish - is that bad?

no cayenne pepper speeds up your metabolism. And I am with you, I drink lemon water all day, hot and cold.

Smile Hi, Ian Marber the Food Doctor here in the Uk advocates drinking this first thing in the morning for its detoxing properties. PS: I usually have it cold though.......

I find that a warm glass first thing in the morning makes a lot of difference. I can not eat anything before 10 am so it works pretty well for me.

For those in a hurry here is an idea. Cut a few lemons in half and place in a ziploc bag in the fridge. Then you have lemons ready to go. I run my tap water on hot while I get the mug ready and get the lemon out of the fridge. By the time I have that done the water is hot and I fill up the mug and squeeze the lemon juice in. Not having to mess with cutting up the lemon saves a little time...and we all know how precious each second can be when trying to get out of the house in the morning!!

I use organic bottled lemon juice...much less work than buying whole lemons....I either put it in hot water or make it luke warm and if I feel like it I add some splenda occasionally. Sometimes I do put a slice of lemon in my water bottle as well.... Have not heard about the cayenne pepper. Could someone explain that a little better? I am on LA Weightloss.....

This is a great time to make your own cranwater while they are in season. I get a bag of cranberries for 99 cents here so you are saving bundles; it is however, a little time consuming.
