I just started my Take-off on Sunday morning, and when I went in to weigh on Monday at 3pm I had lost 5lbs! The first two days were the easiest for me...and now I am on the 4 week LA Express diet. I am supposed to be getting 4 fruits, 4 veges, 5 starches, 3 1/2 proteins, 2 fats, 2 LA Lites and such. This is all SO easy and I'm SO excited about it...EXCEPT that I HATE all vegetables! I'm able to get everything in, EXCEPT my vegetables. I'm worried I'm not going to be losing the weight I'm supposed to because I can't eat vegetables. I've tried every vegetable under the sun, cooked every different way we could think of and I just can't keep them down--I have the worst gag reflexes. Any ideas, or possible suggestions? Has anyone else had this problem?Confused

I am not familiar with LA Weight Loss, but how about tomato sauce, like for pasta? By the way, I'm curious, what is an "L.A. Lite.?"

I am going to suggest what I do for my kids when there is a particularly challenging vegetable that meets opposition. Disguise it. Chop it up and mix it with something. I use the Magic Bullet blender to chop up zucchini or celery and mix with my turkey to make patties. They don't taste them and when they ask "What's the green stuff?" I tell them it's seasoning. Another thing is making my own tomato sauce and puree other veggies like mushrooms, onions etc. and adding to the homemade sauce. You don't have eat your veggies whole. I like to cook cauliflower until real soft, mash it then add some I can't believe it's not butter, 1 oz. cheese (1/2 dairy portion) and some Morton Lite salt. It's pretty good. I hope this helps.

If you don't like veggies...try V8 Fusion. It counts as 2 veggies and 1 fruit per 8oz and there is some yummy flavors. My favorite is the peach mango. =0)

Welcome to the "I hate Veggies" club! I don't like anything on the veggie list but lettuce and baby carrots, but so far so good. I manage to eat 2-3 cups of romaine lettuce every day with 3-6 baby carrots both dipped in low-fat/ lite dressing on the side. Sometimes I top it with grilled chicken for a protein, and/or raisins (2 tablespoons) for a fruit. I am glad to know that I am not the only one who hates the veggies. I have been on LAWL (gold plan) for 38 days though and I am not tired of my salad yet. As long as I am losing weight, I can do the lettuce. LOL Good Luck! Smile

Very Happy sounds like me and you are in the same boat. i have been eating romaine salad for the longest time and baby carrots, except i dont like them raw, so i cant eat them with the dressing. boy i wished i did, i love ranch dressing, light of course, hehe. i each chicken like its going out of style, and love to make a chicken caesar salad, when the salad is cold and the chicken is hot. YUMMY!! and i love green beans, but i dont like them when they are hard or tough, i like them soft and tender. but i cant find any that i can buy that arnt in a can, that would turn out like that. well im just rambling now....bye

I use to not like veggies but I do now. Try to put broccoli in a bowl, spray your I can't believe its not butter spray, put some table blend Mrs. Dash on it and put it in the mircrowave for two minutes. Then add a teaspoon of parmesian cheese, it is great.
